oh and a question: is three dog supposed to keep talking about you after you hit level 20? because as soon as i got to 20, he stopped talking about me. he doesn't say anything about the quest i did (and i did all of them except Take it back and Strictly business).

Anyone find/exploit the Evil Karma infinite supplies trick in Paradise Falls? I just recently discovered it myself. My first playthrough was as a good guy, so of course I missed it.

 

Basically, if you're evil enough, you can get into the guarded Paradise Falls by your Karma alone. What this does is trigger all the slavers to be nice to you. And, one nameless slaver in particular will be so impressed by you, he'll give you an item that he got out on a raid, blah blah. The item will range from food, to caps, to ammo, to Stimpaks/Rad-X/Rad-away/Med-X.

 

And you can continuously open up coversation with him, and he'll just keep giving you stuff. I can't tell you how many Stimpaks and Rad-aways I got. And ammo? I got a WHOLE lotta ammo from him. And all the food, including the valuable Nuka-Cola, I sold it for a grip of caps.

 

So this trick is the perfect way to start a new game, allowing you to bulk up on ammo, caps, and goodies. Just do some evil stuff, head on over to the Falls, and hit up that slaver. He hangs by the bar.

I've been going back regularly for WEEKS [ in game time ].

SOB's shoot at me every time now.

Three Dog still talks about my exploits too and I'm one quest from endind the game.

So, this arrived yesterday for PS3. I'm so far only up to Megaton and have killed Mr. Burke before he could kill Simms. I've also managed to do two of the parts of the General Store owner's quest, leaving only the mineifled one to do. I've began several other quests too.

You make it back to Megaton, with a full load. Then she gives you something and you have to f*cking crawl back to your house.

 

I need to start playing this game again... I have so many quests on the go just now though, it's almost daunting. Plus, still need to complete Mile High Club on Veteran, won't feel I've completed CoD4 til I do.

Yesterday i went through and finished finding all the locations, they were all subways so there was nothing interesting to kill or loot. I really hope there is some form of DLC for the PS3 version in the future. I like this game but after playing through completeley twice over, spending almost 200 hours doing so it isin't that appealing anymore.

I can get to that last corridor (never two times in a row though, mind), but it's so hard. The videos make that bit look easy, as well.

Can someone help me please. I have misplaced Charon. Last time i saw him we were swimming in the damp cave in oasis and i fired him while we were both in the water. I came back a couple of in game days later and he isn't sitting on his chair in underworld! Can i get him back!?

Either he died and you didn't realise it, or you told him him to go away and didn't realise it. Otherwise he would eventually catchup to you no matter where you go.

 

If you told him to go away I think he heads to underworld. Same deal if you tell him to wait and don"t come back for a few days.

Did you go back and look for him in that cave? He was following me when I did that quest and I remember him getting stuck swimming against a rock in there close to the exit. I had to go back and push him out. Other than that, it may take longer for him to get back to Underworld. Wait a week, maybe.

They'll get stolen, I found my Medical power armor on a raider after having lost it for ages...He was a bitch too kill.

 

I keep creating murder scenes by moving bodies around in house, and making little stories.

And for some unknown reason, when I kill red, the other guy..blows up. Literally, he just gets mashed into a bloody torso and severed arms and legs. I tried this several times with the same effect. Any explanation? Go try it out if you can, tell me what happens.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that guy is called Timebomb. I was wondering about his name when i first encounetred him and wondered if i could "set him off" in a wya but couldnt think of anything. I think you've provided the answer.

I'm not a Fallout pro, but I am an Oblivion Pro, and since the games are very similar, if you do that, it will probably get stolen by someone.

 

Granted, it is fun to see really weak things walking around in extremely strong armour.

 

 

I got bored, so using the console on the PC version, I replaced Stockholm's Hunting Rifle with a Fat Man, then started a giant fight by bringing a heap of bandits to the entrance of the town, hilarity ensured.

I fixed the problem! I bought the robot of tinker joe at the robco building. Then i fast travelled back to underworld and charon was sitting on his chair. I'm so happy to see that horrible ghoul!

Yeah, I was pointing out that the only way you can lose a follower is if you tell them to stop following you, or to wait. When you move zones they usually glitch and teleport to your side, even when stuck somewhere.

No, we don't. Bethesda were asked about it and said it wasn't coming to the PS3. This was before it was officially announced, but it was known that there was a 'patch' that allowed for post-game play.

 

I'd really like to see Microsoft focus on their own exclusives instead of buying DLC for games available for other platforms.

Well I failed the Big Town quest for selling Red to slavers, that was fun, and killing Shorty while he was tied up in the basement. So, now that that's finished, is there any point in letting the Big Towners live? Cuz if there isn't, I'll kill everyone when I get home today.
