OT: I was playing this game, and to be honest I have no clue what to do in Megaton now, I'm not going to blow it up, even though I armed it. Now, is it still possible to disarm it, or should I restart?

Once it's armed, you can't touch it again. I suppose you could restart, but you can just not go to Tenpenny Tower to blow the town up. Either way, kind of depends on if you want the house in Megaton really bad or not.

I'm keen to try out this game, but I've heard mixed reviews from it. So is it really anygood? Does it compare to any other games?

It depends on what sort of games you like. If your into RPG's and to a lesser extent, FPS's, then get this game immediantly. It lives up to all the hype and some.

I just finished wiping out the near entirety of Megaton, leaving only Stockholm, the deputy Protectron, and Jericho who I would hire.

 

And I didn't go on a massacre, per se. I killed 'em all without shooting a single bullet. I snuck up and critically struck/killed everyone with the Chinese Officer's sword. Took a while, but it was very very fun. All those people asking for something to do...do this. It's quite satisfying stalking and executing each citizen. I wiped out Walter, all the Stahls, Simms, Gob, Nova, Moriarty, etc. etc. Creed was the only one that took more than one hit for some reason.

 

Now, I'm standing in the ghost town with Jericho, wearing a Tenpenny Guard combat suit that I got after sneak-killing one of them. Weird thing though; when I go to trade equipment with him, none of his gear shows up in the window. What gives?

funny, I did that with my 'super evil' character as well, but I killed everyone in Megaton, and I spent an hour trying to kill the children; this was before I knew you couldn't kill them. Then after all that fun and such.. I blew up Megaton

Is there anything similar to the GTA snap map in which I could get a map pinpointing the locations of the all the behemoths? One of the trophies requires you to find and kill all of them and whilst the vault wiki site details their locations having a printed off map next to me would make finding them a whole lot easier.

I used this to help me find the locations of the Behemoths.

 

1. GNR building story related during the mission “following in his Footsteps.

2. This one is easily found in the basement of the Capital Building in a Dome room with rebels and robots going all out on it.

3. This one is found outside of Takoma Industrial and can be easily seen and killed by pressing the switch on the top of a truck that activates bomb coming down on him from afar.

4. Head to Evergreen Mills and outside in the huge area is a cage with this one locked inside. I recommend killing it while it’s in the cage or shoot the generator next to it to let it out and fight it face to face.

5. This one can be found outside of Jury Metro, to activate him walk around till you see train tracks and a turned over dumpster with a teddy bear inside a locked cage, open the cage and grab the bear and turn around to watch it charging at you.

Okay, got a problem guys.

 

I just got to the underworld and killed Greta and now have Charon's contract, but I already have Jericho following me with power armour and power helmet. So which one should I go with? Jericho or Charon? Which one does most damage and with what weapon?

Liam you’re a star, thanks pal. I did struggle to find the one at Takoma at first as I was searching inside the main factory only to find mutants and the occasional health pack and ammunition.

 

I thought you could have more than one companion, isn’t three the maximum? I had Clover and Dogmeat following me at the same time.

Dogmeat is the only exception it seems. You can only have one human follower at a timeunless you go about doing a glitch. I can't do the glitch yet because I'm not that far in the game .

I had a hard time navigating the subways to even get Takoma and was just running in circles, in the end i just gave up and looked on Youtube for the route lol.

 

Oh and i had Fawkes and Dogmeat following mean, Fawkes was immense, saved my arse loads of times.

I never take a follower, maybe because Ive only got dogmeat and fawkes, dogmeat went missing for a few real life days, and I had to put up posters then randomly he ended up at 101, so I got put off the idea of followers.

 

I initiated charon, greta often nicely positions herself outside of underworld in the large room with the dinosaurs, so its easy to just silenced pistol her in the head, or sneak shishkebab her. Though I think it doesnt work if you kill her before you ask him about the contract. Im sure theres a way around it if she is already dead. Make sure you save just incase.

 

 

And on the Behemoths, GNR one you have to encounter, use the fatman, on a dead brotherhood mush. Evergreen mills, either lay mines outside the gate then open and watch him fly into orbit, or shoot him for ages through/over the gate and wait till the mysterious stranger unloads into him.

Jury street metro, he was already let loose, as I came from evergreen down the traintracks and saw him running across the horizon and owning the hell out of a yao guai and a mole rat, so I shot him with the fire lance a few times. Takoma park, you can only access that area via vernon square east you have to access by going over some rubble out front of the statesman hotel on the other side of the massive crater, once at the park, the truck will be infront of you as you go through the 2nd gate. And the one in the capitol building, just let the mercs take him down, or shoot from a far from one of the small doorways so he cant get you.

 

I wish liberty prime had fought a behemoth, that would have been like power rangers

I've been looking to get this cheap enough for a while now. Was on Amazon last week and the most I could get it new was close to £30, then I checked again last Thursday and it was £20. Sorted. It should be coming on Tuesday at the earliest, I think. Should be good.

 

I'm not one for FPS games, but you can change the camera angle anyways, I hear. I recently started a game on Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and found it quite good but haven't been on for a while.

I've been runnin' with Jericho on my 2nd playthrough, being pretty evil. We ambushed some Outcast steelers, and I gave him the power armor. He's also sporting a combat helmet, and the Lucky shades I let him have. Plus I put a cigarette on him that he smokes constantly. SO...he's looking pretty f*cking badass.

 

I just iced Roy Phillips and his ghoulies. Now I'm gonna head into Paradise Falls and do the slaver missions. Then I'll buy Clover and deck her out to be killer, and have an awesome trio: Me, J, and Clover.

Got the platinum today. The last trophy I had to get was the Data Miner one (Hack 50 terminals), it was the worst trophy in the game IMO. It it was hack 30 terminals, then it would be fine. Picking 50 locks is easy, because you can find locks everywhere, on doors, ammunition boxes, first aid boxes, safes, etc. But hackable terminals are much more rare.

Terminals are everywhere. In any building or complex, the goddamn super-duper mart in the beginning already has 2.

What the frigging hell? So I recently moved from Megaton to the Zane house in Minefield, (had to walk 4,000 lbs of equipment about 2 miles, lol) and just finished decorating it. So I go out into the wasteland to do some gunning, and I come back. Now, not only do I have 3 mines set in front of the door on the inside, but on the outside also. So I go to store my drugs in the first aid kit in the kitchen, and there's Mr. Crowley, standing in my kitchen, having himself a smoke! Now I did his mission over 100 hours ago. (roughly around hour 50 or so... I'm at 170 now.) I got the keys and t-51b before I even started his mission. So I go talk to him, and he says I did a good thing giving him my keys. There's no other things to say to him. He just stand there. I tell Charon to go away so he won't see, and I go stealth and shoot Crowley with a dart gun to have reduced blood spatter. He's poisoned, but of course he runs to my Fatman hanging on the wall. Conviently, there's a mini-nuke next to it. He drops dead before he can fire, though. Only my toaster has blood on it, so I turn it around. I store the body upstairs in the bathtub. Seriously, why the hell was he in my house? It's not even like the game could recognise it as my house, as officially, it's just a place I sleep sometimes. Like really, wtf?

 

Also: he was marked as friendly, and didn't attack me.

It might be a glitch, Ive heard if you take the armor he can come after you, but for some reason he seemed to be friendly. Not sure why.

 

 

 

 

I got the vault 77 jumpsuit, I was hoping it would scare raiders or slavers but no luck.

 

 

I got 1100/1100 last week too.

How come Reilly and her Rangers hate me now?

I was able to collect caps for location searches until I got near the end of the game and then I go into their outpost and get shot at.

What's up with that?

you aren't wearing talon company armor, are you? btw, i decided to play on the highest resolution on my monitor after getting some new nvidia drivers and seeing that it runs much better. but now the terminals are small when i hack them. they're not too small, i can see the characters and passwords, but it used to be full screen, but now it's not. can this be fixed?

Is there a way to heal merchants? I have one left, and he has one bar of health... I tried reverse pickpocketing stimpaks and going away for a few days, but he didn't use them and tried to sell them to me.
