BloodOcean
Uhm say what? The so called retarded fans may be people that have been with the series from it's start. And all of a sudden a group of people are not satisfied with the game, and automaticly they are retards? Well, it can be summed up pretty close to this: If you prefer San Andreas, you're likely younger or more immature, simply playing with a cool toy with a bunch of shiny buttons to press and giggle at. You may or may not have a unibrow. If you prefer IV, you likely enjoy fine wine, classical music and golf. i see it more like if you like san andreas and features, then in real life you'd rather drive a nice jaguar with a/c, cruise controll and leather seats, and you don't have to use the a/c if you don't want to. If you prefer IV then you'd be more happy in an '86 ford escort without hubcaps, without a/c, and the windows are out of the tracks so you can't roll them down. And you can't adjust the seat either, it has to stay exactly where ford wanted it to be at the factory. i like my analogy better Edited July 16, 2008 by jarfullofarts
Batroo
I enjoy playin SA and IV cause they are both great games but to the person who complained about pink afros and heart boxers, you have got to learn that this stuff is all optional, as of nearly every other feature in SA. My man, a for you. OPTIONAL should IMO be word of the day. Yes a lot of things were optional in SA, except eating, if you didn't eat you slowly lost health, some of us don't like to have to micromanage something like that. Do you think you can talk crap about people because you've been on this forum for 5 years almost? I don't care how long you've been on here BRO, games are for the kid at heart. I'm 20, and I still enjoy playing games, but if you think that gta san andreas is immature, maybe you should get a new hobby. Games are supposed to be unrealistic and immature. Go outside and drive your car if you even have one if you want realism. I prefer flying and jumping out of jets, having unrealistically fast bikes that do unrealistic jumps, and not dying from a "realistic" car crash in a game. GTA IV is good, but a dissapointment. Less is not more. More is more. Go ahead and flame now if you want. You know you want to. Me? I'm gonna go play San Andreas and have a dog fight over area 51, eh I mean 69 in my hydra. Have fun pretending to be a "realistic" criminal in a "realistic" city, Driving your "realistic" motorcycle that handles like "real" crap and is no fun to ride, because your "real" life isn't all it's cracked up to be, so you flame people on an internet forum for liking a much better game then the one you're defending, lol. Deep breath* Sorry for the crappy grammar and whatnot btw, I wasn't checking it really. Edited July 16, 2008 by NPC_hunter
TT1987
Out of all the GTA games San Andreas seems to be the most immature one.
Tony Mozzarelli 80
They are all immature, including IV. the 69 references everywhere, the portrayal of such characters as Brucie, Florian etc. The thing is IV is the only one being heralded as an artistic and serious story, which it isn't. It has just removed a lot of elements from the previous game. Playing a GTA game is still not a refined and sophisticated activity. Sorry to break that one to you kiddies, but you need to try a little harder if you want to engage in intellectual pursuits

Tony Mozzarelli 80
to you kiddies Is it necessary? I doesn't make you intellectual Wasn't actually directed at you. Was directed at Carl Vercetti, the kid who thinks that liking GTAIV is somehow akin to listening to classical music and enjoying fine wine and golf, which let's be perfectly frank, it isn't. Dear x Sergio
A feature is POINTLESS if it does not serve any POINT at all. Therefore a working car wash is not POINTLESS because it serves it's POINT by removing noticable grime from your vehicle (IV obviously). I agree with the post that said that features are optional. How can 'some' clothes be worthless? The only feature in IV that is truly worthless to me is the ATM only because it's job is done easier by pressing down. Yes well if there's a point to removing the grime from your car, then yes, you may argue that no feature in any game has ever been pointless. NinjaJones
A lot of the fanboys have been saying hoorah to the likes of me that have been weeded out, but this will cut back on profits for rockstar and cut the development budget. You really think that by not buying the next GTA you and people that agree with you will cut R* profits? Every GTA has had more advertising than the last and has sold better than the last. Besides...even if it somehow does make a dent in R*'s profits they're not going to go under. If the next GTA (not Chinatown Wars) sells even half as many copies as GTAIV it will still be a financial success compared to alot of games. Its Dan Dan Ey
true i think is more like the oscar winning movie that are really booring about booring things but people that like movies think that they r great That point would have had a bigger impact if you knew basic grammer... your argument would be valid if you knew how to spell grammar
Carl Vercetti
Wow guys don't get mad, this is the internet. If text on a computer monitor gets your panties tangled, I don't really know what I, or any other non-psychologist member of your life can do to help. Picture yourself getting angry at an obnoxious post on an internet forum. Like yourself, your body, in RL. You're sitting, probably somewhat hunched over, as you squint to read the words that will change your life forever (the next 10 minutes at least). Suddenly your fist clenches and your face gets red. You feel insulted for some reason that is probably related to you being A f*ckING NERD. And so you sit there fuming, making a complete fool of yourself (provided there is anybody around to witness such debauchery), not to realize it, until a couple days later, when the infamous poster has a second to check the GTA forums and he points it out to you in ANOTHER of his posts that will make your blood boil, that you are a dumbass. Basically I'm just trying to say "Hey, man I was just kidding around! Let's be friends.."
BloodOcean
ahhh, who cares. I think the people that stick up for this title would make great communists. Whatever, you guys win. Less is more. Maybe they can just make gta 5 a game where you just walk around looking at stuff. people would still say it was the best game ever. i concede Edited July 17, 2008 by jarfullofarts

-RFTS-
Wow the only thing i see here is just GTA IV bashing, if you didn't like IV as much as SA or any other GTA for that matter then SR 2 is for you!! Have Fun n leave IV to the people that actually like where R*s taking the Series, is it that difficult??
