ELGABORS
One thing I would hate in GTAs is that Rockstar repeated their same f*cking way, if they kept milking their own money cow from us. What do I mean? I mean all the features they took away, people say it's for focus, to go back to basics, some say to compare GTA IV to III not San An, problem is, the next game will be like Vice City all over again and next one like San Andreas, and with this I don't mean the cities itself but the content. So, Rockstar released GTAIV and people noticed serious lack of some content, with the next one, Rockstar will add a little bit more and the next another little bit more and everyone will go apesh*t, when Rockstar OBVIOUSLY could have given us all the QUALITY the FIRST TIME AROUND (considering the full four years it took them to release a proper game) instead of pushing us to buy another game after game. In almost every succesful game franchise, every game has offered each time more and more detailed things, don't get me wrong GTA IV is a badass game but they took a sh*tload out of it in terms of side missions, I hope Rockstar doesn't keep playing it safe and gives us what we deserve. Tony Mozzarelli 80
I agree, they need to start putting some creative ideas out there, or it will just get stale
Mainland Marauder
This time around it was going to be "oh look, cool graphics and new physics engine!" Next time it'll have to be something different. I don't think this is lost on Rockstar in the slightest. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." 28RedEyedCrows
I'm leaning toward what Mainland Marauder said, though what you and Tony are thinking is worrying me as well. I think this is actually a big decision point for Rockstar, and a lot of people are feeling it. "Do we take advantage of our fans, ditch our pride, and milk the franchise for all it's worth?" or "After establishing the great new system we have now, will we uphold the Rockstar name and keep smashing through to the next level?" That 500 mil either gave them the inspiration to create something awesome, or made them realize it'd be a good chance to screw everyone. It will be interesting to see what happens. I just hope they can keep their true fans' respect.
