gamesguru Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 It would be too hard to create, and then they would have to top it with the same hardware; which would be really hard. Like many will tell you, IV is the base, and then the acids and alkalies (dude, why am I getting scientific); i.e they add to the formula and improve it until another generation, where they start a fresh once more. And if they did SA, then we would be either looking at no GTA till next-gen or getting downgrades (which isn't good); unless they made one HUGE city afterwards. If memory serves GTA SA came out 2 years before the PS3 came out. So I really don't understand why you are saying that game should have come out on the PS3. If anything it should have come out on the PC using the PC's superior power and graphical ability, instead of just giving us a quick and dirty port. I believe GTA: SA should have the way THE GODFATHER was re-released as the XBox 360 version (with a rumour that it has more in it compared to the XBox format). I also wonder why GTA: SAS never came out. I wish GTA: L and GTA 2 would be re-made as the XBox 360 and PS3 formats as the 3-D version. GTA: L and GTA 2 sucked so much. The graphics were so sh*t and because of the 2-D versions, we couldn't drive fast without crashing into people and those two had two major glitches. One is, if you fail a mission too many times the mission is removed from the game so you can't complete the games and if you kill the cops too much they don't appear in the games anymore. Those two lacked so much as well. I'm glad Rockstar replaced points to money and there's no "game over" anymore where the games would have to be re-played. With GTA: L, I had another problem with a glitch where one chapter failed to load most of the time and I exchanged it for another copy and it did the same. By the way, why did SCARFACE come out as the XBox format when the XBox 360 was already out for at least two years? I read it was because of a trial thing and the XBox format was cheaper than the XBox 360 format. Even so, it was bloody annoying. Mostly because it took me ages to get a patch to load the bloody game in my XBox 360. I hope GTA 4 comes out as the PC format and as we all know, a thread on that is the most common but we don't know if it will happen. I believe it will because of the ammount of copies that were sold and the money made and Rockstar will make another fortune with a PC version. I'm waiting for the soundtrack to GTA 4 to be released. It's a shame GTA: LCS and GTA: VCS never made it to the PC and the same applies to the the soundtracks being released. If another GTA game is released and based in SA again I hope SA is changed like LC in GTA 4. I love the layout of SA in GTA: SA but Rockstar can make it better.
