So after donning a Splinter Cell type outfit, lowering myself thought the roof of the R* NYC building and taking some files from one of the developers computers I was able to get this, the first ever IV screenshot

Yeah i think that was R*'s way of fooling people with a fake!!!, they seem to have encrypted the real ones, however i have managed to decrypt 1 of them at the moment, and I am hoping to decode some more ASAP, so here you go the first real one...

 

And the intriguing thing is that there is a mission marker saying Tv, this could be T-Tommy and V-Vercetti!! Is he back too!?

1)V may be the letter "V" or the roman number 5. Either way it matches perfectly with "Vice" AND the title "GTA V"; "GTA V -- Place of action : V ice City

 

2)I don't see NOTHING special in UK. NO drug barons, NO mafia, NO bad-ass gangs and NO many. What's soo important, I can't tell what the f^ck you see there.

 

3)If you really are anxious to see another country in the franchise, why don't you pick Italy, Germany or Russia? UK = nothing special

 

4)US is renown with their successful criminal movies and other games besides GTA in which they have the same gender. What interest they have to ruin (in their point of view) the franchise?

 

5)If GTA V will take place in UK, you don't see the consequences: the british people will accuse R* of bad publicity of their country. UK, as far as I know, it's the best country when it comes to simple and happy live.

 

6)Don't you tell me that there are users in here in which they won't have a problem with that. Maybe not with them, the fans, but with those who are against R* with GTA. I can tell you kid, there are many ANTI than PRO GTA.

 

7)If you want some proof of bad publicity take example (and you won't believe it) GTA Vice City. Cuba actually accused R* of such things back in the days when we were playin' VC.

 

8)You're a dumbass because of your lack of knowlege of these kind of things. In fact you and the "prison break" dude don't know what you want.

Let the franchise occur in US. It's better and safer.

Bam, thanks for reminding me about GTA London. I almost forgot about it.

As I recall, GTA London didn't do well back in the days. The GTA which hit the market at sales was GTA III. Seeing their success, they've made "GTA VC". That one was even higher. Afterwards "GTA SA" came and then the others.

 

The best think is for R* is TO NOT make a remake of London. Let's stay with VC. SA will be "GTA VI".

There... ALL settled.

In my opinion GTA V in London would be great because I think after New York, wich was in GTA IV as Liberty City, London is the 2nd best City of the world!

So I hope very much that GTA V takes place in London!

I've said this before and I'll say it again.

 

I think it will be Vice City, set in the same time frame as GTA IV, (although it's starting point would probably be a little after the start of GTA IV's story) and will have a story that will be connected with events in Liberty City.

 

It's more than likely this is Rockstars "thing" for this generation of GTA games.

 

I 'd like to see it being simple again, with the focus on missions/story and side missions, with a friendship system or loyalty system that will require you to do smaller side missions for certain contacts that will keep them trusting you so that you can do these specific contacts final missions.

 

The story would be one of revenge, taking out high ranking members of two rival crime families that set you up and betrayed you in Las Venturas.

It would also include local street gangs, two crooked cops and a couple of criminal businessmen, as well as a few old friends you help get out of trouble and get a couple of business' up and running.

 

No empire building or turf wars, just on-going side missions that help your friends business' thrive.

These include stealing cars and stock filled vans, and even raiding similar business' to steal their stock.

Looks really good , makes me think that Rockstar will use the same first teaser screenies but with their R* logo and GTA , if NeXt GTA is Vice City at all.
