For real, George Bush is a chimpanzee... I am sure you have seen the picture of GWB and a chimp side by side, and you gotta admit, it was hard to tell them apart. No offense to chimpanzees.

 

Either way, if you dont like it dont look at it. People can be so sensitive about events that happened in or around the last decade. Now you know why all those old folks gave you those damn dirty looks when you were growing up, only playing "acting out" World War II moments, Or [insert countries sensitive subject here] Whatever it may be, just chill out. The thread is called fan art, art is an expression of ones self, and all this guy was doing is expressing his self.

But it is NOT fan art - such a thing would belong in the gta Screenshot fun thread. Look back at some of the works here - hand drawn pictures of the cars, photoshopped post cards and advertisment posters, the artwork of the bug buster van - that's artwork

 

Slapping on a 9/11 pic and a poorly done George bush picture is not fan art. It does not belong in here, nor do maps, or a photo of the sh*t I took this morning.

 

On topic: Kifflom122, kinda getting back to more artwork styled things with an attempt at a postcard there. Seems a bit minimalistic if I'm honest, but at least your trying to create fan art and not a sick joke so cookies for you

@Mokrie Dela: I'm sorry. In my defense, I didn't intend for my screenshot of the bears to upset anyone. I really considered it art, rather than a joke. I appologize if it bothers you, and I'll be more cautious of what I post here in the future.

Mind you with that said you consistently show good work and I don't think I've seen you break topic so I'll trust your judgement, and say perhaps it is fan art. How far is the line though? Maps - there's a topic for them; videos - IV has a theatre topic and with v not out yet no such topic exists so I've made a concession that perhaps they do belong here; screenshot tweaks - which is what I personally consider that - I think go in the screenshot fun topic. As said previously, I think this topic should stick more to artwork (examples: postcards, cartoony pics and drawings) but again I suppose some leeway is to be expected.
