Erm, this is wishlist, every forumer should be able to say what they want to. Do you think they will read 146 pages to check if that was said or not? I'm sure it will be posted a hundred more times before NeXt. And you won't be able to do anything but whine. Too bad, so sad. BTW, if you think about the number of new users and in the forum, it sure is hard to find something interesting. I agree with you only on that part.

 

Anyway, I am %100' ing Vice City again and I would love to be able to rob stores in NeXt.

@Kwandilibro (to stop chain quotes) : It will happen again after NeXt. It may be different noobs, but there will definitely be someone else. I wasn't a total noob when I first joined. I waited a lot before I posted my first post. I read topics here, improved my knowledge (which is still nothing big compared to veterans here) for months then I posted.

Add a lighter that you can use to light fire on things, trees, stores etc.

 

More thing's to spend money on, buy a house, stuff in stores like cigarettes, sun-glasses,

Fix some animations like when eating or drinking, the thing is not really touching the mouth

and then it just disappears.

 

On foot:

 

Walk, fast-walk,jog,run,sprint

With an option to "fixate" the speed (you set it up and he walks at that speed, you dont need to hold any stick or button for walking, like auto-walk)

 

Crouch

Crouch-walk (already in GTA)

Lie down on the floor (like soldiers going through low obstacles, like MGS)

Roll in any direction (using the analog stick)

Jump in any direction (this feature is already in GTAs)

Long-jump by first sprinting

Jump and roll on landing (this is automatic in GTAIV when jumping from high altitude)

 

Grab onto things (already since GTASA)

Sit down function (sit down on benches, a cars hood, anything, using contextual menus)

Lie on the back

Sleep anywhere

Lay on a wall

Wall-mount (like in MGS) + peak around corners

 

 

Car interactivity:

 

When a car is approached a context menu appears with the following:

I've only actually finished GTA IV

(Sorry accidentally hit add reply) Anyway: I've only finished 4 and it seemed pretty well made and is probably the furthest they can go on PS3 & 360 without streaming it from online, which they'd have to do to make all of these improvements. That said, if they can improve it, I'd like the following:

 

1. Either in Chicago, D.C, and/or Texas. All of these have country areas & I think it'd be cool to beat up KKK guys or Congressmen. Texas could include say El Paso and Juarez (with different names of course) or the Dallas-Ft Worth metro and could have human trafficking and smuggling. Chicago could have boat-jackings on Lake Michigan or hijacking a jet & flying it into Sears Tower (though admittedly I doubt they'd put that in there post-9/11), D.C. has military places all around there that'd be fun to steal from (example: stealing a Stealth bomber from Boling Air Force base). Also they could allow the character to fly to the other places as well as Liberty City and San Andreas.

 

2. They need more vehicles and to make them look distinctly different. (In GTA IV I had trouble telling the difference between some cars). I'd also like to fly planes ranging from a Cessna to a Jumbo-jet to a Stealth Bomber. (or a Space shuttle. I don't care if there's no NASA launch pads in these areas I think it'd just be cool)

 

3. Customize vehicles (self explanatory)

 

4. Buy property

 

5. Customize weapons as has been already posted, and more types of weapons.

 

6. More realistic explosions and structural damage

 

7. Easier way to get into cabs (Whenever I try to get in as a passenger I sometimes accidentally get in the drivers seat)

 

8. More realistic pedestrian injuries and more pedestrians with guns (Especially if they set it in Texas)

 

9. If the character lands in water from high up it should kill him.

 

10. All (or at least half) of the buildings should be enter-able and any store, restaurant, bank, etc should be able to be held up or broken into.

 

11. During cop chases there should be a timer along the search radius that would allow the player to hide out in the circle (in an alley or a building or even a dumpster) for a certain amount of time until the police leave.

 

12. Get rid of the auto-lock on and instead add aim down the sights.

 

13. Make the environment brighter to make it easier to tell where the enemies are (this was a huge problem I had on IV).

 

14. Make all the violence more realistic (you get shot, you bleed out unless you can get to a hospital, or if you get shot in the arm you can't shoot with that arm).

 

15. Get rid of the wanted level for just bumping a police car, or get a star for running a red light or speeding excessively, and allow the police to be bribed and be on your way.

 

16. If they're going to keep the sex, let there be a small chance of your girlfriend getting pregnant. You can then either let her have the baby and pay child support or get her an abortion either in a hospital or in a back alley (although I don't think they'll let this happen, it'd be interesting to say the least).

 

17. Be able to get luxury cars from dealerships much like the Turismo one in IV, except be able to buy them.

 

18. Have a police impound lot so when your car disappears you can go there and find it.

 

That's about all. GTA 4 was perfectly playable and I wouldn't mind too much if they did none of these things.

Problem with this is that for players who aren't really experienced in gaming much it would be very difficult to complete the game. When in a violent conflict with the police - you most likely will get shot. So if just 1 bullet hits you at the right spot, you bleed out and die - spoils the fun of a shootout, in my option. What's worse is that if you're on a car chase and have a police chopper over you, they will open fire and if they get you - you'll just die way too easily and everything is over once again. But the biggest problem of all - missions. Getting shot during missions is mostly inevitable, so there's a huge chance you'll have to re-do the missions again and again. Adds realism to the game, no doubt, but it'd be pretty annoying to die so easily.

I see you're wanting the game to become more realistic, but if cops chase you, you get shot, you need to get to a hospital - the cops would just get you there, obviously.

 

 

However, I agree with most of the other stuff you said (although the space shuttle seems a bit too much )

I wish in this GTA you could have any house you want, like stealing houses/apartments/trailers, from people/gang members/mafia dudes etc, but having to face a family of criminals, since (the place where it is going to be held the game) there is no one who doesn't have a gun or is liked to drug dealers, because they want to be secure from criminals. And you could get any house you desire, obviously not everyone but some. Then some of them will have like some dudes who will come sometimes during the game to retrieve the house you have stolen from a gang member/gang allies etc. Obviously you will end them with a optional mission to kill them all for once and for all by going to where they reunite and/or hide and just eliminate them to stop them from going after you.

 

Also creating your own gang, having members, creating wars, have arch-enemies and people taking sides. Also have one guy that tells you other gang rumors. As well your enemies will have everything I mentioned earlier.

 

Or choosing sides, like being a cop (a dirty one or a clean one) or still a hitman. Since in GTA 4 you can choose to either "deal" or "revenge", you here got 3 sides of the story, being a cop will go as you taking down all the drug dealers in the place where this is going to be held, and having a chance to take a house from a gang leader or drug dealer to turn on as a dirty police dude. As for the hitman, you can take down the closest police station of where you and your gang hideout will be, and also take down all the enemy drug dealers.

 

As for the protagonist, creating new protagonists and (as the story passes by) having hints as what happened to the other GTA protagonists.

 

As for the clothing, having 5 diferent stores, the baggy clothes shop, the suit shop, the patriotic shop (for foreign characters), the car shop and the weapons shop.

 

 

As for the properties, just be like GTA: VCS, and administrate from start(a small place) to a big company(large place) in exchange of big piles of money. Being a businessman. having to choose from a drug place, a car dealer, a lawyer company, a charity froundation etc.

 

As for the cars, since we're going to be working with gang members or possibly a new family pls rockstar give us the 6 man car, when we could have 6 people in the car!!.

I want to be able to pilot a plane, a jetplane, a commercial plane.

I want the airport to be more robust, also I want to be able to go into the airplane and well hijack it, have like a interactive thing inside the airplane where you can walk in and sit down and and all that and well if you want to, hijack the plane.

 

 

Also the ability to lock car doors, the ability to spray paint anything including your car and the wall, items, all that. Also the ability to modify your car manually, a car store where you can upgrade engines and all.

 

Also if possible, to limit hijacking, a passport system lol. crazy idea but it's so if you get away then you'll be marked and all. But also maybe the ability to fake a passport and all.

 

One thing I do I want in GTA V is a more robust physics system. I want to be able to fly my plane or hijack one and then ram it into a building or something. Or when I hit a building with my car I want the building to get some damage.

 

Also I want all buildings, properties, things, etc. to be user-interactive. Not just some piece of block that lying there with some picture you put on to make it look like a store lol.

 

Also I want things to follow an order, like if I kill someone over here, it follows over there even if I go to another city or something. They'll still be looking for me. I don't want that to be story-limited only, I want the ability for us to create our own stories too while free-roaming so we can actually do something not just shoot and kill. Likewise starting a gang war where I kill everyone in this building where all the gang members are and then they go after me, and all that lol. Also if possible, choice of words though not all the time. Just like Mass Effect but just not all the time, just if we want to (give us an option) so that we can talk to people and all.

 

Also be able to get a better phone if we want, and bluetooth (it's annoying when someone's attacking and you want to dial 911 but he keeps putting the phone away when he gets hit)

 

Also want more robust interactions like if I want to use a person as a human shield. Also the ability to sit down (just stand up looking the opposite way from the bench or chair and press crouch and you will sit down). Also well the ability to just hang out there, lay your back on the wall (press crouch two times or something) or sit down lying back on the wall (press crouch when there's no chair or any objects but just the wall).

 

Also I want to be able to ride buses as an individual, not drive them. Also the ability to hijack them and ability to hijack cabs too (that would be fun) or say follow that car! lol.

 

Also I WANT CHILDREN IN THAT GAME! LOL! please!!!! it's very violent but I mean isn't the game already violent enough? adding children won't make it that much worse. It'd be fun lol.

 

The ability to throw objects like our guns, knives, or anything we pick up. Also the ability to grab on anything, and also the ability to be able to get anything.

 

Also I want a system that also feels realistic, limit how many guns we can bring. Depending on weight and all and also bring back the stamina system from GTA SA where it tells us how strong, how fit we are and all. This will tell what kind of guns I can carry, and how many. Also I should be able to carry any gun even the heavy ones just not more than one or two and I will walk slowly...something like that. Like I said everything affects anything.

 

Also about the whole this affects that, with events in free-roam I forgot to say to include police into that. So when I break into something or do a crime and I become high-profile or something, they can barge in my door while I'm at my house and they can start shooting me that'd be awesome. Then there'd be a chase lol if you survive. Also events happen even while I'm sleeping. So I might go to sleep one day and then the next 6 hours I'm being held at gun point by some criminal mastermind for killing his gang members or something. Also the things we do in free-roam should affect the storyline just like in Mass Effect but instead of word-decisions, it's free-roam and story integration.

 

Also I want the ability to commit suicide, I can by jumping off a bridge or such but I want to be able to point my gun on my head and kill my self or something like that.

 

Also bombs, C4s would be nice so that I can plan bank robberies lol. Plant a C4 here, plant a C4 there, etc. Then when I rob the bank I'll just ignite the C4s.

 

Also bank robberies, I want to be able to do that. The ability to rob stores too, rob guns, rob anything. Rob people's houses. Of course like I said police and storyline integration. Consequences can come and all.

 

Also if we specialize on something I want things like a secret feature that if you rob a lot of stores you'll get noticed and some gang will hire you or something.

 

I want to have like an MP3 player (also with the phone upgrades hopefully mp3 integration with better phones lol) so that when I'm sitting down I can play my music (integrate with Xbox 360 Music and PS3 Music and PC Music) while waiting for someone or something. It'd be more well realistic.

 

Gambling, I want to be able to gamble, play blackjack, poker, or something. This can also start killing and all. Choice of words (Oh I'll have your money, by next week).

 

Also I want other people to also be able to rob us, it'd be more realistic and it'd give me something to do extra (kill this asshole lol). Like when i get home, all my stuff are gone or something. Also things like when he robs my cellphone I can track him down (don't put the whole he turns it off and takes out the SIM Card or something like that that's too complicated just leave it with track him down). lol maybe insurance?

 

Also better Artificial Intelligence (AI), like when I cause a car accident and it was my fault or this guy's drunk or something he starts dissing me and stuff. Also tow trucks lol, to tow cars. Those things that you put coins in when you park to keep your spot. Also a speed limit everywhere and when your near a cop you better be at or below that speed limit. Also consequences for crossing red lights when a cop is there or something. Also the ability to diss the guy who caused a car accident or something (universal talking to anyone lol like a say something bad or say something good or say hi when you just met him/her). Also AI has to be different for each and every person (well not each and every person but a variety, not just oh put beautiful girls in these side while put ugly ones with ugly personality on this side I want a mix on every city lol). How he/she reacts to things, what he/she says and talks about, and all that. Put a mix to it.

 

Also when I get shot, make it more realistic by like when we walk we walk slower or we put our hand over our wounded part and if we run it will hurt and sometimes can get worse. Also the ability to schedule hospital appointments and all. Also when I get healed I wanna wake up in the hospital and walk out or something. Also the ability to walk into police stations, say I wanna talk to someone, ability to break in and bail someone out, and something like that.

 

 

Schools, where are the schools? I want a school too. College, High School, Middle School, and Elementary. Would be fun to just go in there and red code and kill everyone or just go in there or something.

 

Also wouldn't having a child be something new? lol crazy idea but make the free-roam and storyline get modified so that we can further our relationships with people and things can happen (like if I hijack a plane, and my girl will start freaking out and just break up with me or something, or when I do something sweet. lol no condoms! )

 

but those are just some of my ideas which are pretty crazy but would be fun if you imagine.

oh and i like the more realistic get shot thing and if you don't get to the hospital or something, make use of hiding and taking cover. also i want to be able to jump on top of cars and stay on there (sit down or bend down or something) while it's going as long as I don't loose balance. Also the ability to jump on the cars while on a helicopter (more accuracy if someone else is piloting the helicopter). Also I want other people to be able to do it too (like gang things) and me able to shoot the top of my car (movie-scenes like these are awesome.). Also i want trucks that carry gas or explosives or something driving at highways at times too (FINAL DESTINATION 2!!!!). Ability to attach truck to the load on the back (i forgot what it's called) like at gas stations to steal gas lol.

 

OH and I want cars to run out of gas. So that the gas station can be more useful. Planes too, everything but they should be filled already.

 

Also the ability to check in to hotels and get tickets for airplane rides and all. Ability to hijack trains too. would be fun (Pelham 123!)

I'd like to see the addition of Parkour too. Chasing people and running from the police should be fun and exciting. The few chases in IV were only possible because the areas were heavily designed for them.

 

Destructible environments would be nice to. Before you freak out let me say it would only be interior walls and exterior features like fire escapes.

GTA needs a real aiming system, none of this lock-on bullsh*t. Don't say just turn off auto aim either, its not precise enough to be the primary aiming system for the game.

 

I'd like to see the addition of Parkour too. Chasing people and running from the police should be fun and exciting. The few chases in IV were only possible because the areas were heavily designed for them.

 

Destructible environments would be nice to. Before you freak out let me say it would only be interior walls and exterior features like fire escapes.

Manual aim is unprecise in IV. Almost no other game uses a lock-on system, are all other games unfair? Its extremely unnecessary. If R* does keep their horrible lock-on system they at least need to make manual aim precise.

Like, i run out of ammo in my rocket launcher, then i just proceed to smash enemies with it!

Or atleast so i could throw it into the cops after i run out of ammo, and not just this (slow, might i add) discarding thing.

most games dont have lock on because most games dont have as many AI as gta has. also, gta is a third person game, which means that the center of your screen is usually facing towards the ground. enemies arent going to jump in front of you so you can kill them. lock on is perfect the way it is.

What are you trying to say? There are so many third persons games and only GTA and Crackdown have lock-on.
