lets see first i would like better hand to hand combat with multiple counters ,side stepping ,disarming.now im not saying tekken I just think shooters dont have multiple sides of combat other than shooting. it would be nice to run up on a group of people and just whoop some ass.

iI think it would be cool to see multiple main characters all with the same ultimate goal in the end.they could charge people like 10 or 15 bucks to get these other characters side of the story.Have it be multi player online story mode where different characters story's intertwine maybe they fight it out in one mission and team up on another.create a character so you could join a freinds game be part of his group (gang) play the game co-op.

these are just a few of my ideas that I would like to see I have many more but this will do for now

1) Being able to buy houses and customize it as deep as the sims' house building system is. Also sell house for money

2) More clothes and different types of clothes

3) A lot more stores and maybe a huge shopping mall

4) Be able to go inside most buildings

5) Have all of the cities and have to fly from one airport to another to get from one city from another

6) Being able to rob stores

7) Fully customize your car like saints row

8) More service like pizza delivery, massages, ect.

9) Be able to play sports at the park like b-ball, tennis, ect. And actually make it realistic

10) whatever you're wearing affects the activity that you're doing. ie. it will be hard to play tennis in jeans and a sweater

GTA V could take place in a city based on Washington D.C. and could be called Capitol City with all the same great satirical humor found in every GTA title, and if possible, fit an updated Liberty City as well, for an additional map. This could offer many possibilities for a dynamic storyline based around today's events or maybe even the future of America (Rockstar always makes stellar storylines/characters) It appears to be a tradition with Rockstar Games to make the main game titles take place in Liberty City. Though I still think a brand-new city would be an awesome and much-needed addition to the sphere of GTA cities, or perhaps for a separate game, either way. And Washington D.C. would make a great location to parody for all GTA fans, especially in our present day. And I'm also thinking of a radio station that plays Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, and Extreme/Death Metal exclusively, for all the metalheads who play GTA (there will always be a rap station in a GTA title). Maybe get Phil Anselmo or Fenriz of Darkthrone (this may be hard to convince him, but he knows his Metal!) to DJ!!! That would be awesome. And as an aviation enthusiast I would really like to see fixed wing aircraft return, and lots of them, if Rockstar believes it is yet appropriate to do so.

 

As brought up before, I believe sentient animals (other than ambient birds and fish) haven't been put into a GTA game because of the controversy this could cause along the lines of humane/animal rights (of course some people would kill the animals). Though I've always wanted a canine companion in a GTA game as there are in other games, perhaps an array of different breeds. The police also need their search/attack K9 dogs. Safeguards can be easily devised to prevent any animal cruelty in the game, just look how other games manage to include a dog as a pet and guard dog.

 

Sorry if this has been said before in another post but I think more random events in the game of different magnitude and lasting effects would also add to the realism and excitement aside from the missions.

 

I would also like a storyline that creates psychological/emotional effects on the player similar to that of GTA IV, that element adds significantly to the game's experience (e.g. theatrical tragedy, intense drama, suspense, ect).

 

I would also like to see more variations of marine vehicles deployed. Perhaps a nuclear powered submarine?

Yeah to that one...bring back the planes Daddy R and a multiple city environment {see Locations for my choices }

Also some of the Characters from previous games {who wouldn't want to see Mike Toreno again } and my gf would like to see character customisation that allowed for girls {come to think of it....so would I }

Just because I'm british I voted the next GTA V be hosted in london . although if it is yet again hosted in america then I would like to see quite a few things come into play, especially on the emergency service side.

Heres my ideas:

POLICE:

Taser

Full uniform [including radio and equipment on the equipment belt]

different divisions for different areas e.g. if you are in a chase and it goes from the city to rural areas or country side or desert sheriffs dept or state police sould join the pursuit and city police automaticaaly pull off the pursuit.

Pepper spray

Wide vareity of police cars

Customisable Police cars and weapons [add a laser sight to a taser or different push bars to a chevy impala or something]

FIRE RESCUE AND MEDICS:

For the city department have quite a modern truck or ambo but maybe in the desert or countryside go to older trucks

Ladder trucks or advanced equipment units

paramedic car and bike

Air ambulance

OTHER:

more vareity of heli's like there were in San Andreas, GTA 4 all we got was the blackhawk and bell ranger we want more stuff like the levithan etc. I loved that heli and used to do coastguard missions on multiplayer with it, the blackhawk kinda worked but it didn't have that kinda theme to add the fun to it as the levithan did.

the gta sa weapons were amazing and other inventories like night vision goggles and paint spray can, i used to use that as pepper sprau when I was a cop .

Different seasons so like winter, summer etc. by choosing it in the menu in display or personalisation options added to the main menu, so if I selected winter as soon as i closed the window it would start snowing 2 seconds later and the snow would actually take its time to set and once it reached a certain level it would stop snowing and the level would slowly decrease.

like some other people have said the game time, i would suggest 30 seconds in reali life would be a minute in game time.

Rockstar did one bad thing.... they need ALOT more interactions with cars cops peds buildings situations etc.

 

All in all I would say that it would have to be gta sa but with gta 4 graphics and cars, along with gta 4 weapons because frankly rockstar called the m16 and m4 and me being a big fan of it, it didnt really fit so I would like to see the m4 from gta 4 come into san anderas and have the m16 as another assault rifle, also maybe add more than just two type of firearms, I got bored of the mp5 k and the uzi very quickly and wanted a different weapon to use for a SMG, this is why I would suggest customisable weapons where we could modify the mp5 to have a different butt from stock to the extendable version or something like all the possible mods to add to that specific gun or taser for that matter when adding a laser sight to the taser or something. Rockstar have done a good job so far but its time to step it up and not only think outside the box but wander away from the box and explore different ideas with weapons cars and clothes.

 

Thats my view of it.

Heh. One thing for us bus-enthusiasts for GTA to add is... REAL BUS ROUTES! and actually having to maybe pay the bus fare and etc... plus, actually sitting inside and getting onto the bus, NOT mods (even though I like mods ) and walking through the door LOL. maybe some smaller detail things, such as turn signals on cars and other vehicles. And you all know in the past to now, there are missions for taxi, firetruck, ambulance, and etc, maybe there should be some sort of thing like that for the bus, plus you gain money when ppl get onto the bus Then it will be fun times Maybe in the future, Rockstar should make a GTA game that goes from like Mexico to USA to Canada and then oversea to Britain but it would take so much memory. :S

Half the stuff from San Andreas and Vice City. Parachutes, swords, planes, different fighting styles, graffiti, a lot of offroad driving, BMX and mountain bikes, jet skis, being able to go underwater, loads of handheld weapons, schools, tatoos and haircuts, police motorcycles, quad bikes, getting a reward when you punch someone getting chased by police, etc.

 

New stuff that would be cool and I would like to see is being able to interact with peds like in Bully, having stuff like batting cages and shooting ranges and stuff like that, more friends or girlfriends, ingame iPods where tracks could be hidden collectables, and more cool little weapons like tasers, pepper sprays, stun guns, whips, crossbows, riot shields, etc.

I wish that GTA V will support steering wheel and pedals. I bought it for 50€ and only one of my games support it -> San Andreas

I wish realtime reflections in mirrors - not a sh*t like in GTA IV (Picture)

diving, falling,rolling etc etc while shooting u shud be able to shoot while being thrown through the windscreen of ur car, better gun skills and better signiture weapons with the introduction of bullet time (max payne, matrix, multiplayer would need to slow down an area around the player) this could only add to the gameplay.

 

a more extreme and capable anti hero. think sin city, kane and lynch, natural born killers, chopper, american psycho, the joker, charles bronson (the english one) hunter s thompson, doctor sax ..etc someone with more fighting skills doesnt have to be martial arts maybe you could choose between a number of preset fighting styles . but a far more extreme character is required. i want him to drink bourbon and smoke while he breaks a guys jaw with a single blow and then dives behind the bar whilst firing his signiture concealed sawn off blowing his agressors heads off and sending there limbs flying (there should be  more dramatic and cinematic damage graphics i want to blow a guys leg off when i shoot it with a shot gun.

I'd also like the ability of going to the gun range with your friends to practice and compete with them. Car customization, running your own crew but with really good A.I.,buying and managing businesses, properties for sale, mobster type cars like a Town Car (Washington doesn't count cause the front end is hideous),customizable guns and an Italian Mafia character. More bars and nightclubs, the option of extorting neighborhoods, layered clothing where you can choose for example underwear, shirt, pants, jacket, coat and accesories. Being able to kidnap people. Fight moves that improve with time and mission progress, a Saint's Row garage system and the ability to acquire silencers.

If you could put your own clothes textures into the game. Obv on PC versions you can do this anyway, but on consoles it would be cool if You could choose from your photos on your consoles hard drive. So it would let you get real brands / football shirts / etc.

 

Saints row should do it at least, if its not GTA ish enough.

Although I live in London I would like to see San Andreas again especially with the new graphics (Las Venturas), then London after that.

-Much, much more easter eggs for example, aliens and UFOs in area 51, hidden island with zombies, ancient buildings (with creepy stuff inside), ghosts, secret bases and maybe even a chupacabra in a jungle and big foot in the woods. (I think some of these should be unloced after completing the game).

 

-First person view on foot and in vehicles (this is a must for me).

 

-A prison and hospital, when you're arrested you go to jail for a set time (maybe even sneak out). When you die you wake up in hospital.

 

-More properties to buy and better properties to buy like the "two and a half men" house.

 

-Working hotels

 

-More shops, in GTA IV there are so many shops that you can't enter, I'm talking clothes shops, furniture shops (for your house to update it) and other shops.

 

-More clothes, fun to do when you're bored.

 

-Casinos, bingo, arcades.

 

-Fairs and Theme Parks.

 

-Coaches around the city.

 

-Planes/helicopters going around the city (how good would that look in first person).

 

-You have to choice to drive or not when you're out with the AI.

i think we all have the gift in designing the ultimate game...but our voices arent heard....so i registered on this site just hoping .....HOPING!! that my demands might be met.... one thing i really enjoyed was customizing my vehicle in san Andreas.... now i cant throw an idea out there for the location of this future game... but customizing a vehicle is a must!!! bring back the lowriders!! bring back the hydraulics!! give the option of putting in a more beefed up engine the vehicle... and!! the biggest one!!1 THE BIGGEST ONE!!! ALL YOU VIDEO GAME DESIGNERS!!!! YOU'VE CONQUERED WATER, AND DID A GREAT JOB ON FIRE!!! AND SOMEWHAT WIND!! THE NEXT THING YOU HAVE TO REALLY WORK ON IS .....smoke... im sick of doing donuts and burnouts and and a little smoke is coming from the rear end....FIX THAT sh*t!! I WANNA MAKE A HUGE CLOUD!!! .....so thats about it....more cars...more TRUCKS!!! In the next GTA I would love to SA come back. I love GTA but, I wish they wouldn't take so much stuff out like the customization of cars, hair cuts, body type, etc etc etc. IMO SA had the most depth of any of the GTA games and the map is just insane. I could image playing that game online with that huge map. I want the next GTA game with a Saints Row or All Points Bulletin customization type approach including online play. I mean really the online player models could look a lot better with a different variety of clothes.

 

I'm really into the online aspect of GTA. I dont play offline unless I'm doing missions/side missions and all I would like for the next GTA is just more depth(ala everything you could do in San Andreas) and a ton more customization offline and online. I also think it would be cool if GTA had some content to download every once in a while.

So they took out tattoos, customizing cars, a mall, working out, fighting styles, etc, etc, etc, because they wanted to make it more realistic!? Now don't get me wrong I'm all for realistic gameplay/graphics but, something seems to be a bit off to me If they are taking these things out and trying to make the game more realistic. Are you saying LC was to small to fit these things in or are you just talking about the planes?

- Place would be Vice City

- Keep the VC shiny and colourfull like it was in GTA VC

- Some stuff from SA (like bicycles, maybe gym, of course gang and etc.)

- Thousand of different clothes, haircuts and some other stuff how you can make your charter unique

- Peds from baby to granpa

- More enter able buildings (malls etc.) and possibility purchase some aparments (those you can purchase would be from like Skumole shack from VC to a nice and expensive suite in a skyscraper)

- Possibility to rob store

- Jobs where you can earn money

- Something where to spend money

- Internet cafe would be stay from IV and do a possibility to really go internet with those computers

- Car don't catch fire if its flipped

- Better support for different controllers in PC

Support for steering wheels this time. By steering wheel, I mean variable axis support.

 

You can't really call it Grand Theft AUTO and then ignore the "auto" part. Especially when a great portion of the game involves DRIVING.
