You should be able to choose one out of a variety of different girls and guys. That way everyone can enjoy them as much as everyone else.

I would like....

 

- Make missions more complex, longer and harder. Maybe more, so that even after the storyline ends, you can keep it going.

 

- Be able to take part in society more, such as; Go to sports games, actually go drinking, be involved in local politics say.

 

- Make the environment not just as realistic, but not as quiet or slow. It was depressing in GTA IV (maybe that was the point) but San Andreas hustle and bustle was much better.

 

- Customise your character more. SA was nearly spot on. Crap clothes overall, but at least you could alter nearly everything about you, whereas in IV it was really dull, pre-determined, you had little control on anything of the game.. we're humans.. we need control!

 

- Add on to the last point, make every item of clothing the peds use and the clothing stores available to the main character. Makes you feel more connected to the social spectrum you will be involved in.

 

- Bring back personalised car customisation, but bring it up to speed with the games time. I don't care what you No-sayers think, it was fun, but this time, make it available to all AI, so its not just you that stands out.

 

- Start the game younger, so you learn the ropes of street crime, and actually give the look of your character your own personal touch, I'm not being funny, I'm English, I couldn't relate to a Black American or a manic depressive eastern european. We need to be able to choose our own fate. Starting with the look of the character, the name, enable YOU to build the personality.

 

- Build your own empire. Be it drugs from street level, to car theft (obvs most important one), Racketeering, hooliganism (naturally an Englishman would relate to that ) but it all adds to what we see around us in real life.

 

- If you are part of the gang, your character needs to be more full on in it. Yes CJ was a proud GSF member, but GTA needs to take that to the next level.

 

- Add your own music, non of this predetermined crap. How it will be done without Live applications etc I don't know.

 

- Maybe have a point of fun glitch when maybe after the would-be story line there could be a feature where maybe there's a big war going on, zombie apocalypse, something crazy like that, aliens come to town, so its every man for his life, and you need to survive at all costs... a bit extreme for GTA but it would be hilarious!

 

- Speaking of surviving, making the environment more accessible. Such as; Petrol running out - filling up, eat and drink anything - to which it may affect you in all kinds of ways, actual recognisable injuries - like black eyes, cuts gashes, wounds, not just blood on the shirt, buy things for your own place be it - apartment, condo, house, flat, even a trailer, be able to have the option to take drugs - or deal them, criminal records affect your game - even spend time in prison if you really get horrific in your adventures, leading to, being investigated by government entities - not just in game story line, just think about how we slaughter everything around us... as if that would go un noticed, GTA life is un moral yes, but not THAT unmoral hahha!

 

- Introduce animals to the landscape and surroundings.

 

- Hear or see children around the urban or rural areas, maybe in schools or homes, none of which are accessible, otherwise that would be wrong.

 

- Make damage more lasting. Such as; bullet holes in cars or walls, through windows, or rocket fire, making buildings break up or even collapse, just making the game more realistic, leaving visible scars of our would be fine handy work.

 

- Have protests. If you are still an ordinary citizen, or the opportunity to bring the would-be environment to its knees even more, maybe create an atmosphere such as planned protests or riots, where you and your buddies can sway where the tide will go.. optional post game storyline.

 

- Make districts bigger. I'm not being funny, but Ganton as compared to Compton, its a small 2 block neighbourhood as compared to a sprawling city...

The maps are big yes, but utilise the space more. Make the people who occupy them have a meaningful purpose to, so if attacked, you will end up feeling the wrath etc. So if you perform a hit or drive-by.. sooner or later it will happen to you aswell.

 

- Have in-game rival sports teams and fans ;D

 

- Make AI be as criminal minded as you, if they are criminals.. GTA IV was good with the policing, the wanted level search zone was awesome, keep that! But you cant be the only psycho in the game.. surely theres competition to be the top hood.

 

- Maybe, even all that I have just said... perhaps make the protagonist the other side of the law... maybe start as that other mcreary? Where you tackle crime, launch and take part in investigations, but due to early life, you have your problems too.. leading you to be unintentionally corrupt, perhaps eventually losing your badge, going underground, being betrayed and having to fight both sides of the law around you until you clear your name, and assert your innocence..? THAT would be epic and a fantastic turn for GTA/Rockstar, bringing a whole new angle and depth to their model and make up of their franchise.

 

- Finally, make these games films!! Silent hill and resident evil did it!! These would be epic movies!!!!!

 

- PS make the 'War with Australia' more prevalent. Even celebrate ashes wins over them? Would be nice See if those sissies would ban that too..? Hahahhaaa

I would reeeeaally want to be able to buy and sell drugs, not have to go out with friends to get drugs. Be able to take over crack spots and get the same done to you. I'd like the have a more complex policing sytem (although the current one is very good!) I want to be able to by hoods to sell drugs. I want to have more weapon options, and a lot of different pistol options, seeing as though a pistol is the main weapon of choice for a street thug. I want some rather good customization. Basically, I want a ghetto game, not something as unrealistic as a guy who works in burger king is a mob boss within 12 days. Because, lets face it, thats basically the GTA storyline. I dont really want to make it big. I would be happy with being a thug at the end of the story, although I dont want to be the same good for nothing bum as I was when I started. I would maybe like if I had my own crew. Something like the 'backup' feature on GTA IV, but you have it as long as you want, and can dismiss them. Would also be cool to choose how many people come with you, to a limit of about 7-10 depending on what your doing. I want to have good, adrenaline filled shootouts with other gangstas, and I want to be able to rob stores and cover my face with stocking. I want to be able to pull of heists. I want a real THUGS GTA. Sorry if I sound like a wannabe gangsta, but I just think thats what GTA should be about!

Remember TBOGT? It had that big helicopter, the Skylift. Now if it were to be in GTA: 5 That would be great! And it was obtainable normally and appeared everywhere and had a different name on the side, Because it says, liberty Skylift on the side E.G San andreas skylift, vice city skylift. Oh yes, not forgetting, GTA: 4 LC Could be renamed and GTA: 3 LC would stay. Remember behind the observatory? There were those names on the minimap wasn't there? Named after the creator of the game, those places could exist in GTA: 5! More planes, better resemblance of the vehicles they are based on. The Skylift thing, the maverick has been with us for 5 games so that could happen with the skylift as well!

All I want is solid online play. Everybody wants ten million new online options. I totally disagree I think there should be less online options.

 

45 second respawn is just dumb.

 

The BIGGEST online problem in GTA4 was when you play a DM game thats first to $1000, $2500 $5000 or whatever, when you start to destroy all the other players they slowly just quit one by one before you reach the amount of $cash you were playing to.

 

So they leave and dont get a loss on their stats

 

And you who were winning the whole game till every bitch quit get a LOSS on your stats.

 

So make it so the last man standing WINS or take the cash games out and just have timed games. So when everyone bails on the game you still get the WIN and the MONEY.

 

Besides that massive flaw GTA4 was a 10/10

And be able to jack a subway train.

And yea a helipad or 3 is needed. There was a helicopter on top a safehouse in Vice City and in San Andreas but as it wasn't a garage it wasn't always there... And besides, I like the sea sparrow the most...

This maybe will sound crazy but a 7th or 8th wanted star would be awesome. It started with four, then to six but eight would really be awesome. Also the cops sometimes should be a bit smarter, like when you're robbing a store they don't go inside like a buch of retards but wait outside with their guns pointed at the door.

 

They really should keep the NOOSE team instead of the SWAT and again no army. The NOOSE tank sould be in it again.

 

There should be more to do in free roam. In GTA IV the ballad of gay tony you could do a lot more then in the original GTA IV wich was really good but some of the options from San Andreas should be put in the game again like the racing game in that stadium.

 

They should add the minigun again into the game but then on a stand.

 

And I didn't really miss it but planes should be added in it again.

Great idea ok in gta iv go in coffe shop get online whoop nothing to do......... ok this would be cool if its possible if you have a ps3 and in gta5 go in coffe shop or if its gnna be possible to buy stuff be cool to own a laptop in the game. anyways get online while connected to ps3 network and have 2 options 1be able to surf the real web go to w/e you want on there lol 2 go on the ingame website and go to like stores or a fake ebay or something and buy stuff and go back to your appartment and a few (ingame) hours later a pacage arives and w/e you baught is now at your front door!

Custom music stations on the consoles. Seriously, who doesn't have a HDD or large capacity memory unit in their console now. The xbox arcade version is the only one without a HDD and then all you need to do is plug in a thumb drive. Get on that one there Rockstar.

For the next GTA, I'd love it to be based in London (full discussion & detailed arguments of a London inspired setting found here, I urge you to read it, it's a very exciting idea: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=160361).

 

But as well as location, main character is really important. And for London, I'd absolutely love it if it was voice by and appearence modelled after JASON STATHAM! The look, the talk, the toughness, the attitude..the man's a proper Londoner.

Or, since London is a world alpha city, perhaps have the protagonist as an immigrant starting as a noone and working their way up? That would be really cool, and finally something more realistic and closer to home (for me personally and other fellow UK users anyway). I for one am sick of playing GTA's based in America, playing an American all the time, with exception of Niko and co (at least that was a little bit refreshing).

Story: British Protagonist, Jason Statham esque, part of a Crime family, dealing with both snitches, other gangs and family problems. A blend between the Sopranos and 'Snatch'.

 

Location: London.

 

Gameplay features: Realism - similar to GTA IV' atmosphere, it really sucked me in. But i'd like to see progressive change etc. Be it the city, or longterm ownership of your car, weapons so they are actually personal to you. You picked up weapons and cars and dropped them quickly without a care in the world.

 

Gang - Not necessarily street-gang warfare like San Andreas, but have gang illicit operations that you can get involved in and manage. Have in-game friends you can call to help you out, and feel a part of a something like The Lost in GTA IV.

 

Weapons - Greater diversity of pistols, and more commonly seen and used. More realistic sounds, carry fewer ammo, and really feel like every bullet packs a punch.

 

Destruction - realistic damage to cars, more destructible enviroments, but not excessively like Red Faction, i am not suggesting you can take down Big Ben with your fists.

 

Customization - Greater diversity of clothes and ability to customise and perosnalise your car and keep it throughout game without it either disappearing or being destroyed and lost forever.

 

Consequences - Criminal activity equals increased Police awareness. Perhaps bribery of officials is a way to get them off your back. if you kill someone from a rival gang, have that gang come after you. Make being wasted or damaged have long term effects, facial scarring, even a slight limp (not affecting gameplay) etc. Something to see your character has been through rough and tumble.

 

Melee fighting - A better fighting mechanic to be used as often as guns.

I want to see more diversity.

 

I'm tired of seeing story lines with the main character getting rich like Tony Montana, but still be just as ****** up as he came in the picture.

 

A rap sheet for car theft yet steals, deals, and wheels to the top of whatever with little if any change to the physical direction or mindset. I want to see changes cause change. If the main character obtains a car lot, like in SA, then follow a car theft ring "track" and make it big stealing exotic cars. If drugs, the main char "strong arms" pharmacies for drug supply production to make it big through sells, even taking zones like in SA for more buyers. If its bank robbery, then its bank robbery. The linear story lines are played out. I have not purchased any of the GTAs since GTA4 because its the same arc only different dialog. The SA I borrowed from a friend was an o k game-play/flashback, but I still see the same thing.

Hello, I'm new here.

 

I love GTA IV for it's graphics and features. however, there are a few things that i would like to see for the next GTA.

 

In GTA IV, the parking system is annoying, because when someone shoots in public near my house to frighten the citizens, or i obtain a wanted level, police steal your limited edition vehicles and take off. I would like to see secured parking lots or garages, like SA.

 

As a boat fan, i would like to see the ability to have a spot for saving on the water or even a trailer system so you can take them to your safehouse and park them in a garage or parking space, because a lot of boats that i find are limited edition or rare.

 

Location:

This is debatable, but i would like to see something that isn't a big city. Something with a combination of multiple cities, countryside and maybe even multiple countries, like southern Canada and Michigan (great lakes area). (see thread on story idea)

One thing that would be nice to see, is visible Body Armor. In SA we saw it on Big Smoke and it looked pretty cool. But due to realism in the IV Era (if the next game is in the IV Era) it will probably stay fashioned underneath the player's clothes.
