i was thinking abt how the gta 5 will fit in game consoles ,,it will fit in ps3 because of the bluray disks and in the xbox it will not fit so how abt they make the extra data as a downloadable content

why do people not like driving through the countryside?? its not very realistic to teleport from one city to the other... just saying...

Agreed. I think it'd be great to have realistic highways like in SA where you had to spend some time on the road to reach a nearby city. But then again, Airplanes and trains are great ways to zip between the cities and you ought to be able to skip the trip by pressing X, as in a taxi. This is all the more reason to include personal airplanes in the next game (assuming the map will be big enough) so once you've acquired enough wealth you can just fly yourself to your destination and the trip would be far more enjoyable than just being a passenger and looking out the window..

I don't know why, but I am extremely keen on having private jets in the next GTA..

I feel like this is inevitable at one point or another. Perhaps in the next GTA you can choose gender at the beginning, then it would give us every reason to beat the game twice, with two different characters.

 

 

When you go to Burger Shop/Cluckin' Bell, you can only but one thing for $1. I think that you should choose by looking a the menu on top of the counter (where they serve the meal)

 

What's the point?? The purpose of eating food and the restaurants is simply to restore your health. Doesn't matter if you order an egg or a cesar salad. Health is health.

Yeah, i'm more interested in just being able to fly and operate the aircraft. I don't see the point of being able to freely move around inside during the flight, or even inside a bus, for example. For me, being able to look out the window and observe the passing countryside/buildings is enough.

 

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to freely move around during a flight? what would you do?

I'm talking about as a passenger, not the pilot, which I believe Vertical Limit was referring to.

i'm torn between san andreas and vice city settings so how about a combination of both. you start out in one city for half the game then travel to the other for the 2nd half of the game.

 

more weapons. i would like to see a kick a** flame thrower.

 

go back to the over the top missions.

 

gta 4 had too much realism for me especially the driving. how about an option to turn realistic driving on and off

 

bring back planes and have helicopters with target lock-on missiles and guns.

i'm not opposed to the idea of planes and jets in the game, its just that with IV having just helicopters, playing online is just about stupid now. can't go anywhere or do anything without a damn chopper buzzing around you. putting planes and jets in the game will just make everyone learn to fly one just to stay alive for more than a couple of minutes. i want them in the next gta, and i don't want them in the game. now if Rockstar does the non-infinite ammo thing it would be cool. like say 4 guided missiles, 16 dumbfire rockets and a considerable ammount of machine gun ammo. i think that would be fair. the ground forces don't have infinite ammo... why should the vehicles???? someone should definitely reply to this...i think this is one of the more important aspects of the game... so please... comment.

i just thought of another idea: TOW missile instead of guided missiles. for those of you who don't know what a TOW missile is... its a missile which you can control after it has been fired. you can steer it into your adversary. lol. but still should not have infinite ammo for it. just imagine firing it, holding the button down to go into missile view mode and obliterating your target. while your in missile view mode, your vehicle( tank, heli, jet, etc.) goes into auto-pilot. it would be EPIC!!!

besides all the characters, a plot that's worth something and anything else...

a bigger focus on AUTOS.

 

after all it's called grand theft AUTO for a reason.

 

so:

 

1. the ability to register a car and keep it until you decide to change or it gets totally whacked.

like with you horses in RDR.

you shall be able to leave your car in bohan, walk to alderney and go back and it's still there. unless you didn't lock it and someone stole it. would be fun if someone jacked it and you might see your own car in traffic.

 

2. endless GTA missions a la brucie/stevie/san andreas:

some shall always have a list of cars he/she wants.

some are easy to get, others include a little chase of fight.

 

3. i'm not a fan of nitro or the tuning of cars like in san andreas BUT: it should be possible.

Dude i would frigging love for them to bring lots of things from GTA SA. I would sure as hell like to see drag vehicle customization like in the Tech Garage in San Fierro. They seriously need to have a sports minigame. Like if your character played football/baseball/soccer/etc. it owuld be effin beastly. I also think they should bring back the play as Ped cheat too. Who doesnt want to run around as an old lady kicking the cops ass....

I would really love a diverse selection of weapons in GTA V. And an even greater multiplayer. I want them to keep parachutes, add extremely fast sport cars, keep the tank, even though a city doesn't usually have tanks. I wish in Cops and Crooks you would play as NOOSE instead of normal cops, and you could customize your character more and in deathmatch select your loadout of weapons. I think it would be great if in multiplayer headshots only requires one bullet instead of two for ALL FREAKING WEAPONS EVEN INCLUDING SNIPERS AND DEAGLES. If environments were completely destructible it would be awesome, and first person sounds retarded for GTA V. Yes countryside would be frickin cool because they could have all sorts of sh*t out there, but not too much of it, and no, multiple cities would suck. Airplanes=good. Plus, make the city itself in the city of Boston. I want plenty of sh*t to buy, and don't forget the hundreds of buildings that the local Boston average Joe could enter. Don't forget Rockstar, way more weapons, please.

- Varied Parking Options - Garage, Parking Spot, Parking Lots, Underground Parking, Multi-Storey Car Park, Boat Docks, Helipads, Hangars

- When parked properly in locations mentioned above, or park anywhere within your property (driveway, lawn) Vehicles will NEVER DISAPPEAR

- Car Mod - it not easy to get the color you want

- Operable Machinery on vehicles - cranes, trailers, forklifts, tow truck, garbage truck, etc...(novelty)

- Easy to Find docked-boats and Bikes

- some locations ingame where no used very well or not used at all (except maybe in multiplayer) like the driving rage, those place where you use skateboard stunts, the prison

- places like the old mansion in Westdyke should be usable or you can buy it as a safehouse

- Area 51 type of place

- GTA Myths come alive

- Cameos by atleast one protagonist or antagonist character from previous games

i think it shoud be either East Europe, or Los Santos, back in the Early 1980-ies.

it woud be cool if someone crashes into a tree or into another car at a fast speed they will die, also the multible options while entering a car is a awesome idea, but it shoud also auto-pause the game, like during missions when you have to chase someone.

there are many moe good ideas in this thread, im not gonna count them all.
