I posted this in the GTA V multiplayer topic but i thought i would post it here too.

 

So anyway for the multiplayer:

 

I think the free roam could be improved, First of all Planes to fly in free mode would be AMAZING (aslong as your friends could get in the back and walk around). Also i think that there should be mini-games to play with your friends like poker, Bowling, Darts ETC, while your in freemode. For example you and your friend could walk into a bowling alley place and you send your firends an invite to a bowling game or something and when it's over you get returned to the same free roam session so your not technically leaving free roam when you do it. Maybe a currency system, so the gun system could be like Red Dead Redemption Free roam where when you start the game and go into free roam you have the guns you have unlocked but you can pick up other and respawn with them when you die, but you don't have them anymore when you go off the accutal game. So insted in GTA Freeroam insted of unlocking your guns by levels you should get money for things you do in free roam (like betting with your friends in a card game or something) Then you can enter a gunshop where there is a AI salesman which will sell you guns that you can buy out of your hard earned cash. Also you should be able to keep cars you steal in free roam and store them in some sort of garage so its always there when you enter a free roam session (you could possibly spend your freeroam money on upgrades your your car or have personalised licence plates).

Ok i have something that people would call completely stupid but i would love it. Indicators and hazard lights. Im not sure if they used it in gta iv but i still love it. Just for that sense of realism.

 

I would like the car modding system back from gta sa. But theres more choices of mods and when you bring the car there you have to leave it there and you get a text or something a few days later (game time) tellng you to come pick up your car.

 

When peds die you can retrieve a credit card that you bring to an atm to retrieve the money. But you shouldnt have to put in a pin number.

 

More clothing options

 

i no that this 99.99% wont happen, but children and domestic pets. I no that animal warefare groups will jump all over the pets and the government wont let gta v go for sale but wouldnt it be cool? You see a mother with a stroller by the road. Yoou see a cat on a fence. You see a group of teens walking around a mall. At least rockstar should put more indivdual personalitys in the game. Youngs at a night club, old ladys taking years to cross the street. Stuff like that.

 

Now people who say world wide would be a good idea are wrong. Im not even sure that it would work on a ps5. Too big

This is the only thing I remotely agree with.

 

I'm all for the return of airports with functional airplanes, which implies i'm also keen on a map large enough to host multiple airports. Sure, you could have security and all that, but you surely should not have to wait on a flight just as you don't have to wait when riding in a taxi. Speaking of security, I think you should not be able to get by security with any firearms. Instead you can check them in a bag and pick them up at baggage claim at your destination - this would prevent people from whipping out AK47s mid-flight.. Plus, it would lend a reason to actually have a baggage claim.

 

What's with the hijacking but not being able to take control on planes on the ground? Personally, I think that would be the most fun part: acquiring a plane and operating it from take-off to landing.

I was excited to see the metro in GTA4 at first, until after I used it and realised how pointless it was. By the time you've run down into the station waited for a train, boarded, skipped through to whatever station you wanted you could've stolen a car driven in half the time. I like the idea of public transport, but firstly they have to offer a viable alternative to simply driving to a location. For example, taxis work because you can quickly skip to the destination and avoid any traffic or distractions or entanglements with the law etc. that tend to happen when driving. The metro needs to be more useful, a quicker means of getting from A to B than it was in GTA4.

 

Also, the game needs to make more use of the underground locations, more missions and places to explore down there, to make the effort of creating a metro system worthwhile. Imagine exploring old rail lines and closed stations, maybe having a gang based down there, all kinds of creepy stuff going on.

 

Finally, I hate the way once you board a train you can't control you're character until you get off. The train should be simply treated as moving scenery, you should be able to walk on, then walk around still once the train starts moving. In RDR it was done like this, even when the train was moving you were still in free-roam mode and could walk around, climb on the roof, shoot the driver whatever. There was still the option to sit down and then skip to the next stop, but it wasn't compulsory. Essentially, in GTAV I want to see trains, buses and metro trains all use the same system as the trains in RDR: you can either sit down the skip to the next stop, or simply wander around while the vehicle moves.

-More variety of clothes and if you buy a suit that suit can be closed or opened anytime you want.

-Haircuts

-Can swim and dive underwater.

-Can buy cars from car shops.

-A wider range of military and civilian cars.

-Can join the army,CIA,FBI and the police.(etc mini missions)

-Can serve as an airline pilot.

-Previous GTA MAIN Characters(cj,tommy,etc) will be present to help the GTA V character.(Optional)

-After the storyline,mini missions and side missions are done the player should have a job.

-Cool animations like sitting down lying down on the beach.

-A Theme park which actually works

-More cities other than GTA United.

-Several missions where you go to a European country.

-The garage in which you store cars does not fix your car and the only way to fix your car is in pay n spray or a mechanic.

-If you park your car in a parking lot,it should stay their and not disappear.

-Pay insurance for your favorite car so when it gets lost or stolen so you can recover it.

-Gambling and Casino's.

-Bungee jumping

-Can buy cigarettes and cigars and be able to smoke them.

-A speedometer and gasoline meter.(Able to refuel in a realistic way such as Mafia 2)

-Able to customize your own license plate.

-Every car has it own sound and handling.

-More interior buildings,restaurants,cafes etc.

-Can redecorate safe houses(can buy in-game furniture)

-Can buy stuff online(cars,clothes,furniture etc.)

-Seasons

-A wider range of water transportation.(ferry, jet ski)

-A wider range of weapons.

-Can buy different phones(Ifriut etc)

In RDR it was done like this, even when the train was moving you were still in free-roam mode and could walk around, climb on the roof, shoot the driver whatever. There was still the option to sit down and then skip to the next stop, but it wasn't compulsory. Essentially, in GTAV I want to see trains, buses and metro trains all use the same system as the trains in RDR: you can either sit down the skip to the next stop, or simply wander around while the vehicle moves.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing RDR, yet, but I imagine if it's there then R* will include it in the new GTA. I don't see why they would introduce it then abandon the feature.

 

I think the metro was a pretty cool feature in IV but I also didn't ever use it. For me, it was just hard to locate them. If it were located on the legend then I might use it more often as it was pretty quick to get across the city, but not as quick as taxis, of course.

This is a good idea i think. The gun license shouldn't be difficult to get or anything. Passing some simple tests at a shooting range should do the job and then you're able to freely purchase weapons from ammunation, but until then you can illegally acquire some relatively weak fireams around town, either by finding them or killing someone who has one/some.

Same for the planes, only once you've passed some test on how to fly can you - ideally - purchase a plane, or two..

I want to be able to interact with the pedestrians a lot more. It would be cool to have the ability to meet new people, become their friend. Work with them, build a relationship with them. All of that stuff, would add to the immersion in the game and add a WHOLE LOT of room for side missions and or split the story up a bit!

 

Also, in terms of money. I want it to be more difficult to obtain. $1000 for completing a mission? no thanks, I can purchase a sh*t load of ammo and weapons with a few grand and go cause mayhem. Too too easy IMO.

 

Map wise, I'd love a blend of buildings and houses crossed with mountains or open bush land areas. With a intelligent weather system kinda thing, climate changing and stuff. Over the time in the game (realistically) it would change from sunny, to snowy, to autumn, raining etc. etc. etc.

I think one of the largest mutltiplayer game modes in gta iv was cops 'n' crooks. People, including myself, play that game everyday. It is a game that has excitement and fun. I think a lot of people would be disappointed if it won't be in gta v. I hope you take it into consideration. thanks.

The video editor would be nice, but it wouldn't make or break the game for me, but independence FM is a must, I mean come on R* you did on the Xbox why not the 360 and PS3?

 

As for planes as that's a hot topic here, I say only if the map is big enough and/or they work them into missions, as R* most likely would.

i'm not opposed to the idea of planes and jets in the game, its just that with IV having just helicopters, playing online is just about stupid now. can't go anywhere or do anything without a damn chopper buzzing around you. putting planes and jets in the game will just make everyone learn to fly one just to stay alive for more than a couple of minutes. i want them in the next gta, and i don't want them in the game. now if Rockstar does the non-infinite ammo thing it would be cool. like say 4 guided missiles, 16 dumbfire rockets and a considerable ammount of machine gun ammo. i think that would be fair. the ground forces don't have infinite ammo... why should the vehicles???? someone should definitely reply to this...i think this is one of the more important aspects of the game... so please... comment.

Mmm what I would like is several things:

 

More randomness - Like a little more realistic city. Thought this one is very good but some improvements would be cool. Like if you walk through alley way, someone getting mugged. People fighting in the streets. Riots outside of factories or something (like the preachers but in a bigger scale). Some animals like people walking dogs (though maybe running over dogs in game would have PETA in a bunch). I don't know but I haven't seen but like people exercising in parks and stuff. Some tourist taking pictures (of you robbing people of their vehicles ). Etc. Just more pedestrians would be cool. Diff kinds, diff interactions w/ environment or whats going on around like people crashing or someone who got run over, a humanitarian pedestrian trying to give CPR and small stuff like that you could just be entertained watching the pedestrians.

 

More interactions - Would be cool if there was more interactions. For example, like in SA where you would speak with people by clicking button. Maybe just be able to talk to a group of people outside. Being able to sit down on the benches (I know no big deal but it be nice). Taking people hostage, not just having them in the vehicle that you stole and they decided not to leave. Kind of like RDR w/ hoptieing but this would work more like ransom. Or being able to put bodies in your trunk.

 

More vehicles/transportation - I would like to be able to drive planes like most of the people. Also like some have mentioned, having more means of transportation like taking bus and trolleys. It would be cool as well to have an option like when robbing people of their vehicle instead of just tossing them outside being able to "kidnap" them and make them take you to a destination (like a waypoint). Maybe you are wondering would render taxi ineffective but instead of being able to press A (for 360) to go immediately to destination, they just drive fast. That way you can wreak havoc by shooting people out of the window while someone else drives (would be fun). Then have some people refusing jumping out the moving vehicle or just taking off as soon as you point gun at them or something.

 

More customization - Being able to just have more clothing or diff things w/out the annoying wait time while you change clothes. Diff costumes? Like Police costume. That what you can get into police vehicles and chase criminals w/out arousing so much attention from cops (though if you are doing something that a reg cop would not do then they would find you out). Like if you have Police uniform, diff peds reacting differently. Like if it's a gang member or something they would run away or stuff like that. If they did add that would be cool if you could have hand cuffs and arrest people or anyone you'd like and take them to your car (this would not take away like vigilante missions but just abusing power the uniform gives you ). Paramedic costume would allow you to drive ambulance and bring back mini game of paramedics picking up people and taking to hospital. And the costumes you would not have to go all the way back to safehouse but simply walk into hospital and "suit up," same for police just walk into police station into restrooms and change. The criminal clothing would allow you to rob houses at night (kind of like SA). Rob their tvs and couches and crap like that. After you leave the house and put everything in the van, you'd earn money depending on how much the value of what you robbed. And if people saw you walking around w that they would call the cops.

 

Buying your own safehouses like in SA would be nice and accessorizing it. Nothing big just like big screen tvs or buying a garage where you could put your vehicles in.
