I remember I had a couple stoners baffled at my ability to eat mild chicken wings. Yeah one of the first time's I ever got stoned I ate Nando's and put way too much peri-peri salt on my chips. My sh*tty town refuses to construct a small path, so the people (theres plenty of them) that have to walk up the shoulder of the highway, to get places, have to traverse a really dangerous blind corner with a guard-rail. Theres a small creek running under the highway, directly under the blind corner that people tend to fly around way too god-damned fast. Theres about a half-foot of shoulder on the outside of the guard-rail, and inside there is mostly a dirt path, but when it gets to the creek, theres nothing, save a tall cement barrier. So, to traverse the corner, you must either hop the gurad-rail and pray you dont get whacked by a side mirror, or climb up and balance-beam yourself across the cement barrier, hopefully not falling 10 feet into the ultra-shallow creek. I didnt want to eat a mirror, so i slowly tried to make my way up onto the cement. One foot up on the guard-rail, and BAM!, my bad knee bends inwards, and a horrifyingly loud POP is heard over traffic. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah, it obviously hurt/hurts like a motherf*cker, and besides the pain, it just felt... sooooo wrong. You know its not supposed to go that way, so it just kinda makes you sick. My knee kind of, disloacated and then relocated when I hit the ground I guess, it was f*cked up! You can do what I did and look up knee injuries on wikipedia. I'm sitting here right now hungry from munchies and noticing that it is already getting dark outside. WTF!?! I've got work at 9am tomorrow so I've got to go to bed early but I know I won't be tired. He's not been inside the thing for like a year, and he was just denying us it because mate's wee brothers just like to be assholes I guess. Anyway, it's a f*cking awesome spot, there's comfortably enough room for five people. There's old mattresses and parts of couches and cushions and sh*t at the side, and a small table in the middle. The mattresses are a bit raggedy, but they were put in before the final wall was put on apparently, so there's no way to get rid of them. My folks just threw out these two old couches, which are the super-comfy old type that you just sink into. So, what we might do seeing as it's Christmas break is take off one of the walls and try and get them in, but they'll probably take up like, 3/4 of the treehouse. Had a look on the internet and found afew news sites confirming my worst fears... so I decided to stop being a tight arse and phoned my friend in Holland. It is now illegal to smoke tobacco indoors in the netherlands where memebers of the non smoking public may be exposed is kind of the gist of hat he said... it was a sh*te line, he was seriously f*cked up and it sounded like he was in soime seedy basement listening to gabber. ANYWAY i can no longer put tobacco in my joints in coffeshops... this is gutting, though i can smoke joints with tobacco in some coffee shops as they have built sealed off areas where staff cant go, thus loopholing the legislation... aarrrg its to confusing and late for this sh*t... Anyway has anyone been to holland in the later half of this year? Is anyone dutch and can they provide me with more perspective on this than my silly stoned dutch friend!! One of the coffee shop owners they talked to made a good point, that they'll have to basically check every roll-up or monitor it to see that it is purely hash, which is just ludicrous. At a lot of boozers in my area, people still dinnae obey the ban, and I reckon the Dutch will follow suit. Although I doubt it'll come to civil disobedience, they'll surely make a concession and let tobacco be smoked at coffee shops, they're gonnae get hit when the cafes start closing otherwise. Alot of dutch places worked on the basis that it was up to the staff as to whether or not it was a smoking establisment (be it resteraunt, cafe etc etc) if a memeber of staff was anon smoker then the place would be smoke free (essentially!) It is madness though that I can go iinto a coffee shop buy 5gs of super fine skunk stick half of it in a blunt skin and smoke that BUT i'd be unable to but so much as a gram in with some tobacco which is what I'd rather do... ah well i'll find out for sure in Feb!! He is in critical condition at the hospital. It was toughest talking to his brother who is like 14. He of course feels like it is his fault and was totally devastated today. so I just got home not long ago and ate a brownie to sooth the sorrow. just got to wait a few hours for it to kick in a bit and hopefully I'll be feeling better. It is a slang term which can be used for "joint" as well by the uneducated person but is traditionally defined as a mixed marijuana and tobacco cigarette. People in the European area of the world usually smoke this more than in people in America. This is in part because they like the taste of it but also has to do with conserving weed and in some cases for conserving hash which is popularly used to smoke overseas. I had a French friend who came to Cali for school and who would mainly smoke spliffs and joints. Around 3 to 4 a day which meant he went through a lot of weed. We introduced him to the wonders of water filtered smoking devices and his weed usage cut significantly while still being able to maintain his normal high through most of the day. I've known about the indoor tobacco ban in Amsterdam for a little while. They even were planning on having inspectors who, if they wanted to, would be able to confiscate your 'joint" and check it to see if it had tobacco mixed with it. IE: dissect your joint and take it apart in the middle of your smoking it. If it is mixed they will cite you a fine to pay for breaking the ban. Pretty weak, not sure if they are doing that though. On top of that, I read somewhere that the city of Amsterdam has been trying to "reorganize" their city layout. Meaning they are wanting to organize the red light district. Which includes some brothels and coffee shops. Trying to centralize it some way or another. Sucks but I guess Amsterdam just isn't going to be the city it used to. I've rarely had a spliff, and rarely see anyone else having one, mainly because I can only afford to buy 1/8 with a mate every week so it's better to space it out, and because I always find it a pain in the ass to smoke a spliff. It always feels like it takes more effort to get a draw than with a joint. Bongs aren't as common either, although I personally I like 'em, got a dick shaped one, and I think vaporisers are just unknown altogether, maybe some folk have them. I've never had a problem with it when I do use it in spliffs (or mix an existing cig with weed) but I would hate to have to smoke it mixed from bowls. I would probably refuse. I don't mind cigs, I don't mind hookah, I don't mind any of that. But force me to mix my mary jane with some sh*t tobacco in a glass bong or other piece and I'm going to have to knock you in the head and ask you what is wrong with you. @Straznicy: And I find it is funny that the definition is swapped on the other side of the world with spliff meaning weed only and joint meaning mixed.
