One of the best spliffs i've ever had. Because Im a non smoker (except weed) it regularly feels quite harsh on the throat, but this spliff was really smooth, nice strong green aswell, was great. Have you tested the product yet shan or arent the buds ready? Checked on them today. Not quite ready yet, although a lot more sticky than when they were first left to dry. Changed colour to, so they are doing something. I haven't tried it out myself yet, because although I've got all the necessary sh*t I can't roll for the life of me. I could attempt it, but that rolling machine does not like left handed people. Tomorrow I might get my hands on it since mums bf is coming round to check, so I'll ask him to roll one for me. @GTA I'll get some pictures come the time that they've dried properly/been taken off the stalks. Constant cotton-mouth and every exhale you almost die. It sucks. I'm sick right now so I know exactly whats going down. Went to a Breaking Benjamin concert last night, rode up in a limo there. The things to keep in mind are the amount of servings you will be making, as well as the potency of the material you're using (be it shake, trim, ABV, rags, mids, kind). Obviously the more servings, the more psychoactives you will need to put into the budder. The next part is where it gets a little grey.. In the past, I've always been using trim or ABV (already been vaped) and usually add a couple grams of kind for good measure. Also, when making my goods my ultimate goal was to be able to feed only 1 cookie for each friend, and have us all be faded off of our asses for hours. This isn't an easy task, as we all smoke a couple grams daily individually. For my cookies, I used a half oz of trim, half oz of ABV (no thc), and 3.5g of kind bud for a single stick of budder. This made a dozen cookies that were strong enough to put me on my ass for about 4hrs. I've never used less than an oz per stick, but I would venture to say that 1/2 oz per stick of butter would suffice. These numbers would be different, though, if I was using kind. I would say kind would be about 1/4 the amount, say 1/4oz per stick of butter. Also, be sure to be PATIENT. You want your budder to simmer for at least 6hrs, and you'll want to let it fully set overnight before you dump the H2O and start baking. If you dont, the budder will end up holding water content, making whatever you bake flat and dense. Slynke Posted March 18, 2010 Author Share Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Absolutely. Slowly bring the budder to a boil, drop in your bud, and stir for 4min 20sec. Then turn to low heat and simmer for 6+hrs covered. The first time I ever tried making budder I simply brought to a boil for a couple min and drained it.. None of us got high lol I'm sure there was SOME thc in there, but not much. Unfortunately, dissolving the cannabinoids into the fat cells takes a bit of time. EDIT: Few more helpful hints: When you are cooking your weed into your budder, you may notice there seems to be more plant than butter. This is because the plant material will absorb the butter. You want it to still maintain an overall liquid state, so add a cup or two of water. This will keep your butter/material from burning on the bottom of the pan, and will come right out with the rest of the water once you set the budder in the fridge overnight. Also, be sure to let your cooked budder rest until it reaches room temperature before filtering it through a couple layers of cheesecloth.. It's boiling liquid, I shouldn't need to explain this, although have made the mistake myself the first time around lol Oh and don't think you can speed the process up by sticking the budder into the freezer to set it quickly. The budder still has water molocules in it that will end up freezing instead of seperating out. Again, this makes for unsuccessful baking.. Don't do it. My memory always sucked but it's been way worse since I started smoking regularly. Kinda interested how it is for the rest of yous. They all opperate off the idea of heating the glass around the weed to heat up the weed. It's not very accurate, but it still works (kind of, still more of a smoke than vapor). Honestly, that is very expensive for some plastic. You'd be better off just to buy a cheapo $3 freebase pipe.
