Stig Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 For the past 5 months I've been applying to jobs - easily over 100 applications to date and finally today I got a telephone interview which I passed and have a proper interview on fri 27th. Mortgage Protection Consultant whatever the hell they do... oh well... it pays very well! Anyone else feeling the credit crunches downturn? Getting a job is a bollocks atm... What do you do about drug testing? Or do they even drug test you? No companies to my knowledge of in this whole nation of the UK, do drug testing If they did that, then nobody would be employed... The only time I ever got anything near a drug test was a bog-standard piss test when I was applying for the Royal Marines. Question for you fine chaps - do any of you feel any of the 'negative' effects of cannabis use? I'm listening to a 2 hour long radio recording from a Liverpool station in regards to cannabis. The host is staunchly against legalisation to a disrespectful degree by the way he rips in to people who phone in to fight the legalisation side. Naturally he's talking a lot about the harms of cannabis and potential harms of legalisation - and there have been a few callers on who claim that cannabis "sent them up the wall" and made them depressed, desperate, shortened attention span, to name a few. But the thing is, while I accept that cannabis might be bad for you and it might cause mental problems - I have yet to experience any of these problems they talk about. In fairness, I've only been smoking now for just over a year so it may be too early to tell, but I don't feel that it has negatively affected me in any way. Thoughts? I've been smoking for a good 3-4 years, and have yet to see any bad side-affects.. He is the biggest f*cking arsehole that RadioCity has ever had doing a show, he was talking this morning whilst i was listening to the radio on my way to work, this time his rant was about cyber bullying, however he did mention his 'Tobbacco and Alcohol is legal, Marijuana isn't so deal with it' programme so i immediately switched to another station to avoid punching my f*cking horn untill the airbags went off. The man is a rambling idiot, i dont think i have ever met anybody who has said 'Mr Price speaks alot of sense' simply because he is a proper turnip and is too far up his own arse to even consider other peoples point of views. btw im 18 on Saturday so i have a week off work and a good ammount of money to buy some bud, im looking forwards to next week alot I posted the link but yea, Pete Price is a f*cking idiot it seems. Not exactly common. Every place I've ever applied for has made me take a piss test, but it's not for THC, they test for nutrients in your urine. So normally in the US you're good to go too. I smoked like 100 times before I got up to buying as much as half an ounce. Hell, I've been smoking for over a year and have never bought more than 1/4 at a time (£40). Though I do have 2 pipes and a bong but I'm starting to move onto joints more thesedays. I find bongs and that are great at getting you really f*cking stoned, but I'm starting to not care for that so much anymore. Believe me, I'd love to be smoking pure weed joints.
