Arvis
Learn basics of modeling before asking "how to" questions. There are loads of resources from which you can learn, search google with things that you need in keywords. Like: *How to use modifiers in 3ds max *Learning 3ds max basics and so on. DexX
"Creating" a polygon is easy; convert your mesh to an Editable Mesh or Poly (preferred), go to the Polygon sub object level, and go to "Edit Geometry" in the command panel. Or, go into the poly sub object level, and right click to bring up the Quads. "Create" is under "tools 2". Smoothing and the "Tesselate" modifier are alternate ways of adding geometry, but don't offer the same level of control as cutting up and editing a mesh by hand, poly by poly. If you don't understand anything in this post, you need to read more tutorials on max.
