zilvr Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 My Vice City keeps stalling on me, and I have no idea why! It doesnt stall while in-game, but when I press ESC. Instead of jumping to the options screen I just get a black screen, but the sound from the game is still on. Every time it happens I have to press Ctrl-Alt-Del and shut it down. Also sometimes my mouse dysfunctions, I cant turn the guy or scroll the weapons, usually when this happens I can solve by getting into a vehicle drive around for a while and press ESC while in the car, and then get out of the car and the mouse functions again. I can confirm this, on my PC I have XP And Vista dual booted, and in XP, I do not have this problem. But in Vista, I do. So I believe the problem is Vista. But first, try disabling the User Account Control in Control Panel.
