Groovy
source Truley awful news. This man was an absolute legend in the world of special effects. He worked on some of the most important movies, effects wise, like Aliens, Jurassic Park, and the Terminator films. This is def a huge loss in the film community. Vanilla Shake
Holy sh*t. Horrible news. Aliens, The Terminators, Predator, etc. are all classics, and probably wouldn't be classics if it weren't for his work. JoeyLeone25
He was indeed a legend in the industry, and his most famous work was no doubt, designing the original Terminator endoskeleton which has become iconic over the years. A sad loss to the industry. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/357438-rest-in-peace-stan-winston/#findComment-1058258527 Share on other sites
darthYENIK
The dude was awesome. He's linked to all the great monsters and make-up jobs of the 80's and 90's. Including one of my all time favorites... My god so much of his work I've seen. And this is no bullsh*t I am truly sadden since he's done so much great work i the past 30 yrs. Today special effects are all cgi bullsh*t, there will never be as great as him. I think he was working on Dexter's special effects. Star-Lord
Just heard it on the news myself, unbelievable will greatly be missed. I was checking out his site yesterday how weird is that? and today he is gone, I was happy yesterday because I saw Terminator 4 in the list of work in progress and some other great titles. It was amazing to see how many movies,TV,Commercials even toys this person had been part of, but what a sad day today is, HOLLYWOOD will never be the same again.
