Matthew_2008
GTA IV DLC wishlist/discussion thread Hey everyone, this is my first topic here so sorry if it has been posted before. I searched and nothing came up. So obviously as the topic title says this is where everyone can discuss the DLC, obviously it is not out yet so lets start off with what we think the DLC will be so this will basicly be a wishlist of ideas and a discussion on what it could possibly be. When someone posts their ideas I will post it in this post. and again, sorry if posted before. ------------------------------------------------ The wish list ------------------------------------------------ minor things; This is where when people post ideas such as something to do with the cops or cars ect, those things will be listed here below. ----- A thing to do with cops and how they try to bust you, someone posted saying that they would like to see cops try and rugby tackle you to the ground and arrest you in the game. The same person would also like to see random crimes commited by peds. -Blue Lou A member posted wanting to be able to execute Bulgarin. As that he said seems like the only loose end from the story. The same poster suggested that there be a reason why Karen was hired to watch Niko as soon as he was off the boat. -What_A_Waster Ability to purchase property! Pretty self explanetory, like in previous GTA's where you could purchase property, it would be good if it could return. -aDirtyShisno213 & amcycletrans ------------------------------------------------ Major things; When an idea for a whole storyline or area to explore is posted it will be listed below here. ----- A whole new set of major storyline missions? Probely not that likely but you never know... Since the death of respectively Roman or Kate Niko turns to his remaining friends. When the DLC starts, Niko lies on the couch in his Algonquin apartment watching some news, where you are informed that the leader of the Gravelli family has been killed on his deathbed, pressumeably assasinated. In the same moment, niko's cell phone starts rumbling violently on the table. Unknown caller. Niko lets the ringing die out, and the heavy silence is only drowned by the TV. But soon his Cell phone starts ringing again. This time it's Mallorie. She tells you that a certain Mafia family has called her and requested him. Mallorie start's asking Niko if he isn't soon going to stop putting his friends into danger. Niko answers that he doesn't know about that. But anyhow, Mallorie tells that he is wanted at the Hospital in Schottler. Niko hesitates, but explains to her that his service is needed, and that he owes them a favor. (this is where the fun starts) Niko gets down through the elevator. And now, the player is controlling niko. There's a blip on your radar, blinking with a big G. Seeing that our parking space is empty, we hail a cab, and set off to the Hospital. When you arrive at the hospital, police cars are all over the place investigating the crime scene. A man dressed in a dark suit comes walking out of the doors of the hospital. and a cutscene is triggered. He informs you about the situation, and tells you that the assasinator was belived to be hired by a Mafia in Vice city. (which name isn't told) Niko is now asked to take a cab to Francs International, where there is a Private Jet waiting for him ready to take him out of the city. When you reach the airport, you have to go around the side of it, and in to go through the gates back there. Inside the Airport you see the Jet which you are told to enter. When inside it, you go into a 1st person wiev of the trip (like when riding a cab) When in the air, you can loosen your seatbelt and go to a back room, where there is some assasination gear for you. Most interesting, there's a metallic briefcase with a 50. cal sniper inside. From here, you can choose to skip the trip, or go back into 1st person view, and watch yourself arrive in Vice city. when in the airport, you are instructed to take a cab to a hotel, where there's a room rented for you. You ar also instructed that an escort of the leader of the "unknown" mafia is passing the hotel tomorrow morning. (you now know what to do) moto You can now - not roam Vice city - but walk up to the the road from the airport and hail a cab. You put the briefcase with the sniper inside the trunk of the cab, and off you go to the hotel. -Doctor Dinesen If they do a Vice City DLC pack, the ability to fly/boat between cities... Taking a VERY long time, like, 2 minutes. If so, a cargo plane, to take cars between cities. -aDirtyShisno213 ------------------------------------------------ Edited June 30, 2008 by Matthew_2008 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/357134-gta-iv-dlc-topic-wishlistdiscussion/ Share on other sites

aDirtyShisno213
I like the idea above about taking a trip to Vice City. There's so many possibilities as to why. Ex- Jacob has family out there that needs help, Packie knows has ties to Mafia families out there. I REALLY HOPE they make VC as DLC with new missions. I'd like Car Mod Shops too. The ability to fly/boat between cities... Taking a VERY long time, like, 2 minutes. If so, a cargo plane, to take cars between cities. There's my list. OH! And PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!! Add the ability to purchase houses/mansions. There's some nice places in Alderney. Car dealerships with the ability to purchase pricey, rare cars would be nice too.
