TF2 Server can not connect

Dammit, I posted in the tech forum by mistake.

 

 

I just bought the Orange box. Love Ha;f Life 1 & 2, ect...... Everything works fine, but when ever I try to connect to a server it tells me that it can't! All the filters are off, a huge list of many servers come up, a few <50 pings at the top of my list, and I can't connect to anyone of them! I got windows XP home and a wireless router that connects to my cable modem. I've Google searched my problem and have found a few other with the same situation, but in all the cases I couldn't find an answer to resolve the problem. I have a six month old Steam account and every thing's updated.
