Steves garage problems

Hey guys

 

I just got the text from steve and I got the car next to buger shot. When I drive the car to the garage near the 2nd safe house the door doesnt open. Can some one help me out on this? I have know clue why it won't open.

When u got the car did it say you found the car Stevie was looking for?

Yeah. It's one of two reasons.

 

1) You haven't got the correct car. Like Lega_C says, you get a message saying you found the car Stevie was looking for.

2) You are trying to put it in the wrong garage. There is a "car" symbol on the map in Bohan.

I thought i got the right car because it was where it said it would be and it looked like the one in the pic. But i didnt get a message saying you found the car for Stevie.

 

ill try it agin in a bit.

The cars that he wants you to find usually have unique colours and/or patters you usually don't see on normal ped's cars. So they stand out.

 

And as like the above two posters said, you should see a message saying "You've found the car Stevie was looking for.".

 

As for the location of the garage, it's the one with a car and it's around the block near your Bohan safehouse.

You actually may have the correct car, but if your in a mission, the garage won't open.

I was in a long mission and i forgot i was even in it so i decided to get the beamer looking car and i drove it all the way there but the garage wouldn't open. I went back to the spot and the exact same car responded.

So i left and did some missions. Went back and i got in the car and i could deliver it succesfully. Hope it helps

You know what I think it is? I think you're trying to put it in the wrong garage. There are two garages side by side. Just double check it. It's an easy mistake to make.

I just tryed it the mission again and he wanteda different car. I went and found it and it worked at the garage. Thanks for the help. I thing i just grabed the wrong one the first time. Also when do u get the next text msg?

I have some strange problem too.. I can't seem to get the Faggio into Stevie's garage. I'm pretty sure I got the right one, from Diamond Street, Chinatown. no other Faggios spawn there. but when I put it in the garage, the game says Stevie is looking for another car. strange..

When you first stole it, did it have a message on the bottom of the screen saying "you have found the car that Stevie is looking for" or somethin to that effect?

 

If not, keep looking around the area... it's there... somewhere...
