As for the 2010 GT500, smokey already converted 1. It's still a WIP, but you can find it on: mmg.

Ah thanks for the heads up.

 

There are some inaccuracies in EA's version (most notably the rear bumper moulding - and the headlight area*), and I'm not sure why there's a hole on the back of the rear wheel flare, but other than that, it's not too bad.

 

I think however, I'm going to go ahead and do this anyway - if for no other reason than to see how realistic I can get it using Zbrush with the resulting normal maps - more of a personal project of sorts. Of course I'll share it with the community, as well as toss up a WIP thread when that time comes, but since there's already one in the works, I'm not expecting much of a demand for this one.

 

 

*While there is a 2010 GT500 with the headlight/markers arranged that way - out of the 4 models out there, only the silver one has the markers to the inside of the headlight. The dark blue, red, and light blue all have the markers towards the outside.

I managed to get my hands on the model that was used for NFS:Shift, and while it's impressively detailed (first time I've ever seen seams modeled) I did come across a few more inaccuracies

  • The back of the spoiler is angled too steeply and is too short, the third brake light is actually inset in the rear of the spoiler

     

  • The Cobra/Ford/SVT emblem in the rear center is horribly done. both the outside, and inside of the emblem is way way off in terms of bevel

     

  • The back-up lights on the taillight assembly are shown as being indented - the real taillight assembly is not.

     

  • A curious lack of detail on the front wheel flares is more pronounced with the amount of detail surrounding the area - the model stops providing definition to where that flare begins at about the point where it meets the upper ridge on the fender - while it's very obvious from all models of the Mustang from 2005 on, that there is notable definition where that flare begins - throughout the entire curve.

But i have been looking for a mod and cant seem to find....if it even exists.

 

I have been looking for a "stingers" mod from the "Puncture Wounds" mission.

Perhaps a Cleo mod that would let any car be able to lay down the spike strips.

 

If any one knows of or have heard of a mod like this please let me know.

I'm currently looking for a mod that replaces the machine pistol with a similar model, without tape. I have no particular tastes when it comes to guns. As long as it's similar (small enough to fit in one hand), I'm all for it. The tape just looks tacky. 'Twas my favorite weapon in GTA IV. Unfortunate the tape is such a turn off.

Secondly, I'm questionning the existence of sniper mods that "fit" in the PC's hands. The one in the game is fine, but the wood stock makes it look like a hunting rifle. Which it is... But I'd like it black with a silver scope... biggrin.gif

 

I play on lowest texture settings, so I can't really appreciate THOSE.

could just edit the texture yourself. extract it with txdworkshop and use what ever art program you have. personally id use photoshop

 

But if you ask really really nicely i might do it for you

what code do i change to disable all radio also I Imagen gt sa has some sort of file check wen it starts becuse wen i deleat all the radio stations it crashes how do i mod the codeing so u do not need the radio stations, btw im doing this to save space coz im using a eee pc to play it which only has an 8gb harddrive, oh and also can i remove cjs voice and the cut seen audio, ive tryed saat but it dint work and i tryed the cj no vice mod but game crashes wen i use it.

ps im usig versin 1 on XP

I saw a Buzzard Mod in vehicles, and wondered if someone could make a cleo mod for it's weapons (Missiles, Miniguns ,etc). the vehicle modded was the sparrow. colgate.gif

(This mod request system is a stupid idea in my opinion)

 

Has anyone ever made a bigfoot mod that doesn't suck massive hairy ass? Every mod I've found had one or more of the following problems:

 

It was a mission (Stupid, it should be a freeroam search just like it is in real life for those wacko bigfoot hunters).

Bigfoot was docile (didn't attack or run away, just sat there).

Bigfoot had 0 attack strength (chipped away at my health 1 point at a time, no challenge).

Was too easy to find him.

 

I want a mod that gives me a CHALLENGE! He should be extremely fast, run up to you and start attacking so quick it would make you crap yourself! 2-3 hits and you die!

 

Same thing for a Leatherface mod, he should run up to you from behind and kill you in one hit unless you're on your guard to dodge the attack.

 

Can someone please make something like this? Or at least tell me where to edit within an existing script myself to get the qualities I'm wanting.

You can use Tobie's model as a reference.

I second that car choice, but not too sure about the accuracy of Tobie's version. IMO you'll get a lot further if you start out with an '82 Trans Am and contact a replica builder for detailed exterior and interior pics

 

Also, there were several versions of K.I.T.T.

Season 1 had a different dash (2 monitors) and there were several different noses throughout the series (and often 3 or 4 different noses in a single episode).

 

I'm fairly sure that it will be made at some point tho. There were versions of K.I.T.T in III, Vice and SA already, so I would be surprised if IV doesn't get one too.

I second the Town Car and the Yukon. The Town Car is a very popular car in NY. You can see a Town Car on almost every picture of NY.

Well that bus is sexy, and the train looks cool, but IMO it would be a waste (mainly the train), cuz we don't really use them.

Anyone who's played Team Fortress 2 should know the Heavy Weapons Guy and his minigun, Sasha. Well, I was wondering if anyone could make a Sasha Minigun replacement for the default one in SA. Pics:

I have a question.... So there is an asi loader out for 1.0.0.4 and I know there is one because i use xliveless, but the only thing now that is note allowing to let mods come out are three things: Scripthook.dll, .net scripthook, and ALICE for 1.0.0.4. My question what your pridiction on when it comes out?? This is not a request, just a question
