Sneaking doesn't really need to be steered. Crouch: Make please if you can smile.gif. Blindfire right: Still nice, as long as you are in cover and out of open fire biggrin.gif Left: Still crash?

How about a mod that changes the names of the streets of Algonquin into those of Manhattan's streets?

Of course, this would require a huge amount of compromises, as the grid plan of Manhattan is way bigger than Algonquin's but with a lot of brain work and the already mentioned compromises it could turn out nice.

 

Just a shot in the dark, but it sounds like a cool idea.

I'll keep my right fire, because that will be the same as walking a bit to the right with a rifle. The crouch fire looks pretty cool, that might be something for weapons with forgrip. For the normal crouch, look at the sas animations mod.

So, when you press R, it reloads your gun, and if you have ammo in your clip, you will lose it. But losing ammo doesn't work on shotguns, as they don't have clip. Could it be possible? tounge.gif

At least someone is trying to bring the thread back on topic. I'd love for this too; just for sh*ts n giggles lol. Someone did have a real reload animation for SA made somewhere here on the forums; it was never released, and i dont know where to find it now either.

Yep.

 

 

Also got another request (.asi): A script that allows GTA:SA engine to read more lines from handling.cfg. Might be pretty useful if you want to add new cars, as HandlingAdder and HandlingAdderUltimate both cause lots of crashing, and if you add new lines at the bottm of handling.cfg, it won't load every line and some bikes have corrupted handling, and if you add 2 lines, it only reads the line which is below. And sharing handlings isn't ok for me, as there isn't really many cars that could share same kind of suspension-setting. confused.gif

Hey man, when i tried that. Have noticed that every car has all same exhaust and same top speed? Try to enter a handling name and try not to put it in the handling data, it will still work. I think there is a default handling for cars with no handling names they all have 2 exhausts and very fast. Try it.

For me, nope.

 

Tried with two cars, both failed: When I spawn them, it seems that center of mass is in left back-corner of the cars, somewhere below the car. Then the car just flips wierdly on it's roof, sets on fire and explodes. If I try to run against it, it moves easily, like it would weight same amount as a motorbike or similar, and I also lose sounds from GTA:SA when I spawn the cars. Also crashed after spawning two cars and played with them.

And you think the new plugins would not have such problems? The HandlingAdder is made by Alexander Blade, a true asset to the community and definitively one of the top programmers around here. Good luck finding some moder capable off these skills around here tounge.gif

True, he's one of the best modders on internet I've seen, even though HandlingAdders just doesn't seem to work the right way. I think ZAZ did some little handling-changing experiments with Cleo, and he found that it makes SA crash pretty frequently if you change top speed with a script. Maybe it's the same bug with HandlingAdder, as at high speed collisions it tends to crash for me, but low speed = no crash.

 

And I thought, that if there would be some simple limit on engine, it could be just changed, a bit like with SALA.

 

But I really got no idea what I'm talking about, and as Alexander hasn't been around for a while... This idea might never be tried confused.gif

 

 

EDIT: Got some real request, I think I've seen this kind of mod somewhere, but it would allow you to have weapons from same group, for example pistol and silenced pistol in inventory at the same time. Didn't find after searching, maybe you're more lucky? bored.gif

 

And real reload-mod? AND limited ammo, with possibly .ini-file or .dat-file so you can easily change them for your own needs.

 

 

 

Would really appreciate even one of those mods. ph34r.gif

I'd like a small island,not even the size of Vice City and just put all the enterable buildings in it. And you can include non-enterable buildings,but make sure you put LOTS of IV's enterable buildings (apartments,restaurants,mission buildings,hospitals etc.) and name it "Panau Isles". It should include one main island (have a sizeable park,a city hall,lots of vendors and artists in the plazas,hospital,Majestic Hotel,some enterable apartments,fast food places etc.) Then a bridge over to a pretty small residential island (Westdyke mansions). Then there is a small ghetto island (Bohan apartments,hobos,LOTS of gangs). And 1 island big enough for Francis International Airport and the runway. And make sure there is a harbour adjacent to the airport. Actually,this won't take much work because you are already using IV interiors and models,all you need to do is create the land,the ped paths and vehicle paths. I posted this because it would be great to have a city with lots of interiors.
