Slamman Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 San Andreas by a small margin, I do like the jazzy "3", but even better, the theme for the Cell phone in GTA 4, I went with "Drive" for my ringtone, and the original "camera" backdrop wallpaper that the phone gets upon starting that missions, it looks good, but of course the bare midrif ain't bad either! SovietWarrior42 Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 #1 - GTA III: I've always liked the jazzy intro to it #2 - GTA IV: I like the mix of electronic and classical, makes it epic #3 - GTA VC: Reminds me of Miami Vice #4 - GTA LCS: Sounds awesome, like a new version of the Godfather theme #5 - GTA SA: It's ok, not that big of a fan of it #6 - GTA VCS: Sounds too much like a soap opera in my opinion Oh, by the way, you left out the theme to GTA 1! It's the best! Also, the GTA 2 one is good, the one they play at the menu screen. VC - So upbeat and funky! 3. III - The sleek and smooth sound this tune is cool. 4. IV - Such a simple tune, but theres something about it that makes me love it so much! (and why did they start with a image slideshow intro instead of the silouettes with images inside them? Probably part of R* "starting from scratch") 5. SA - Good tune but too simple and "hip hoppy" for me. 6. VCT - Sounds too much like a cliche 80's show intro song for me. I also love the 80s retro Apple like Pre-intro for the Vice City PS2 edition. I think in GTA4, the graphic credits were VERY nicely done, despite the opening stills we were familiar with. Also I admit to being a Dukes of Hazard fan for many years. I think Jan Hammer's scoring was so good, I bought an actual 45 LP with it! I still have that along with Rick Springfield and Falco, as well as DLR on 45 single! No CD singles in those days! By the way, watching the VC intro makes me want to start playing it again. And makes me hope at some point R* might revamp VC and make it look as good as IV does now.
