So yeah. technomm: Yes you're correct on that we believe in a "self" but no we don't denounce a Creator nor do we endorse it. So it seems that I was misunderstood about how the Buddhists conceive god.I think it can be said that you are kind of agnostic regarding the existence of a god. Oh and yeah the morals of Buddhism is more or less difficult to apply; but well ,it's not harder and stricter than that of the semitic religions I believe. To me there is no God as the mere idea is illogical in my mind. The Pope is Nazi scum, but I have nothing against ordinary Catholics, in fact I have friends who are Catholic. My parents aren't into religion so I've never been brought up with it, although saying that my education did, whenever it was a holiday we would take a trip down to the local Church to have a service for things like Christmas and Easter. But even then I've never really thought a whole lot about it. I took a Religious Studies exam in High school ( as an early GCSE ) And it must of been 2/3 hours long. I passed with an E. To be honest with you it was quite biased because all we learn't in that class was to do with the Muslim/Hindu religion and the actual test itself consisted with more Christian questions. And I don't mind people who are religious its their choice, I just don't like it when they shove it in your face or all of these extremists. It's more of a personal thing to me, and I prefer to worship on my own rather than going to church, simply because I don't like what the religion has become. Lately I've begun to move away from the faith, but if I had to strictly classify myself as something, this would be it.
