Good for you that you're not Christian, but please would you not insult my beliefs, no matter how "stupid" you think they are. That really goes to everybody that does this. When you talk sh*t on Christians, you aren't just talking sh*t on the assholes that use Christianity to try and run everybody's lives, but also the ones (the majority) that keep it to themselves. I would ask the same to anyone insulting any religion, no matter how outlandish. I'm not athiest because saying something doesn't exist is just as ignorant as saying it does, if that makes sense. I dunno, I guess you'd call me agnostic. I just think we (as in mankind) will ever be able to prove or disprove religion, so why even bother with it? You remind me the crisis when a school teacher named a Teddy Bear 'Muhammad' - and people got insulted by it. Atheist here. However, went to two Catholic schools under 10 years of preaching and still don't believe. However, you have got to have a very strong proof to challenge what he said since he's right about it. Religions dwell a lot on myth and atheism on facts. This is why you would find it difficult to challenge the thinking of an atheist. I personally think believing in any higher power is incredibly stupid. I think religion is for people who can't handle the fact that life is completely worthless. And I'm very much entitled to that opinion. Just try not to let other people's opinions of your beliefs get to you, I guess. In their mind they were perfectly sound and devoted Christians, doing the work of god. Exact same issue that goes on now with Extremist and terrorists. They are still Muslim, however, they have taken a different interpretation of their own religious texts and applied it to their beliefs. Spot on. I'm totally a heathen with regards to the semitic religions and any other faith like that. Although I find some of the Asian (Indian)religions relatively sound in their theology.For instance,Buddha teaches that there is no actual god(creator),or if there is, it can't be known perhaps. Buddhists believe in a 'self' though, if I'm correct. Principally,the plot of the Matrix trilogy was inspired by Buddhism, as far as I know. So to answer the topic's question, I don't 'believe' in a particular faith at present. I've seen that movie, from what I remember it was pretty good. Really gets you thinking. I need to watch it again though. On-Topic: I don't really like being labeled. I like to think my beliefs are unique even if the overall general belief is similair to others. Although, if I had to be labeled, I'd be Atheist or Agnostic.
