So you have been glitching then, mine is about 186ft genuine from a bridge.

Mine was from the top of the *Empire State* building. I believe that's the highest point in the game.

Only 181.2 feet.

 

Which was surprising, for the longest time it seemed ~80 was the farthest he could fall without actually dying. At least my longest freefall never got higher than that. Until last night.

I jumped form Rotterdam Tower but I believe it was only 760 odd.

I think it came from those weird tower things in the park near Steinway..

chopper bail outs do count as i got over 900 ft when i jumped out of one lol

I thought the freefall only counted if you survived. That's why i didn't jump off tall buildings

Mine was 705 feet for the longest time, then I tried jumping out of a chopper from as high as it would fly. Stayed the same. I wonder if it's because I landed in water? Next I tried rotterdam Tower (Empire State). I ran at a angle NE to SW on the south side of the building between the watertowers, and made a jump that cleared all the obstructions all the way to the street below. I definitly didn't survive the fall. Mt freefall stat went up to over 1100. So I'm guessing it makes no differece whether you live or die, but landing in water may affect it.

Any survival after a freefall of greater than 500 feet is probably a glitch. There are instances where Niko would spin while falling and land in a strange position allowing him to live from a fall of more than 500 feet. I've plummeted from atop the Rotterdam Tower (tallest building in the city) and lived. I'm not sure if the height of the Rotterdam Tower is the same as the RL Empire state building, but if it is, then I fell 1250 ft and lived.

If you can prop a chopper on top of the Empire State building, then hop onto it, then jump off it'll get you a little bit higher. Jump to the street below. Big death but large stat?
