imheretostay Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 I just got a nice new laptop, with a Core2Duo and 2 gigs of ram, and so on. It runs very well and I'm pleased with it, except for when it comes to standby. If I close it, making it go on standby, then open it up again and log on, the performance will be AWFUL. It takes about a minute to load new folders in explorer.exe, and browsers and IRC feel like they are running at less than 1 FPS. Anyone familiar with this sort of issue?
