JasonThummel
"Plus if they included everything with the new engines in this one what the hell could they do for the next one?? " Thats what I've been saying since the beginning. It makes sense if you think about it, all the new features really do make up for the excluded features. They just didn't anticipate the ungreatful bitching teenagers that haunt these forums. BlOoDStReAm101
I'm sure in the next installment of GTA, Rockstar is really going to make fun of Volition so bad. Anyway about that trailer, I think it's a poor way of getting people to buy their game. Why compare it to GTA IV, when GTA IV is nothing like Saints Row 2? GTA IV is a masterpiece game when it comes to stealing cars, shooting etc etc. Instead of putting more activites, they should focus on the story mode as well as the graphics. I mean, come on. The graphics look medicore. Like they didn't even want to make it look good except top GTA IV's list of activities. I mean, honestly, those features are nothing worth doing besides base jumping. The rest is just probably going to be "okay" for the first few times, but then it will get utterly boring. Volition should also try to focus more on the storymode. The last Saints Row's story mode was really...well...not "adultish" if that makes any sense. It felt like I was playing a teenage game working for the so called Saints. The ending was horrible too. I think they should focus on that a little bit more, but hey, maybe I'm wrong, maybe they did or will improve what I said -- but I doubt it. .Ryan.
I think it'll be a good game, but it'll test the loyalty of so called "GTA fans". Und3r5c0r3
I'm pretty sure many of you seen the new video for SR2, the one where it disses GTAIv. Well whether you like the game or not, now this shows us something really good, that R* will need to put the good ol' SA features in the DLC. So we can expect the fun GTA style features in either the first or second DLC, as for the PS3 owners, you might get it as well, after that trailer R* will need to gain their fans back, so PS3 will get thei DLC as well The fact that SR2 is now trying to diss GTA4 just proves how f*cking pathetic SR2 is, and that both SR and SR2 are based completely around GTA's features. If you think SR2 poses a threat to GTA, then something is wrong with your judgment of games. That was our mistake and we are not blaiming R* for that. No more blind faith for R*. Thats all Tony is saying. So you're complaining about your own mistake of picking up the game on the first day? He's saying that it's our fault for not giving the time to know if the game is worth it, we rushed to buy the game Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/354929-why-i-love-sr2/?do=findComment&comment=1058210156 Share on other sites
Narratorjuan
Don't know about anyone else, but I feel my money was well spent. I mean yeah ok it's not perfect, but there are more disappointing games out there. I think alot of it was due to the hype the fans created for themselves. I agree it was £45 well spent when you compare it to other current gen' games. but Rockstar clearly added to the hype with all this 'you'll have to wait and see' bollocks. They had to know that people would be expecting a lot of things to do. if they want my money, then it is no longer acceptable to me that the product i'm expected to pay for be, shrouded in mystery. with this one i bought it out of blind faith, because i had never been let down by the GTA series before. In future i will want to know what i'm paying for Um, what? Just wait a few weeks after it comes out and you'll know everything you want to know! Jeez... Yes, it's our fault, R* was just selling the game, but hey, now we know what to do when GT5 or w/e comes out Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/354929-why-i-love-sr2/?do=findComment&comment=1058210166 Share on other sites
