yess Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Just a theory. Cheats are a key to the city as it onlocks thing you can't do in normal gameplay. We all know (us cheaters) that some cheats in the later GTA's did unlock some crazy stuf and that stuf wasen't suposed to happen, and some of the cheats actually destroyed the game or the save. Rockstar created the social club, if you joined and completed the game within a specific time, you would win the special limited price "key to the city". So my theory is that for the social club not to f*ck up(becaurse cheat's are alowed to complete 100%) they made it a price as a DLC. so those who won will get it soon and those who dident care for 100% will get it later. That is why the only gave us th most common cheat's wich dosen't interfere with the core gameplay and that is why nobody seam's to find any other cheat's.They are simply not there. None of the other cheats I can think of except maybe 2, would affect making the game easier. If this was the case, they wouldn't have released any cheats at first. I know it is just a theory but, it doesn't make any sense. The cheat's are not for making the game easy,all traficlight's stay green dosent make the game easy. If you had the riot cheat or the ped's have weapon cheat, or any other cheat the social club had been f*ck'd up and ruin'd. But whatever! i don't know the point of it, but to give the "selected one" a key of "gold" to hang on the wall just sound's to stupid. I seriously think that the "key to the city" is a selection of tool's to make the city alive ,and you decide how, like in Crackdown where you also get a key to the city to do allmost what you want within a limit. I am still doing stuf to get the max. out of the game,but im running out of options,so it just sound obvius (to me) that there would'tbe a key to unlock those thing that make the game a little more fun.I played GTA since the day of time, and i will continue to the end of time,It's not THE game, but close.
