GTA IV only has a handful of cheat codes discovered at the moment. Anyways why doesn't someone attempt on the PS3 what he accomplished on the PS2? [13-NRV] Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 From what I know (search inside gtaforums), the reason why there is no more cheats, it is because now cheat codes are simply inside a part of the code/script of gta iv files. Like a list, a clear list, with all the cheats we already know (exept maybe a money cheat, removed in the final version of the game, anyway). So, I understand E. Carter, it will be a waste of time to search for unexistant thing. I think I'm not wrong, check by yourself... PS : I'm "sad" too, that there is no more cheats, but I've got fun with the actual ones. I'd rather go for a working cargo heli to get a bus over to happiness AND do loads of other fun stuff, like getting three busses onto getalife building to throw em down, how you like that? I would like to get a parachute cheat and have six stars on me, jump out of my heli and slowly come towards the ground with my rocket launcher ready. that is of course, if you could shoot a weapon while parachuting. and if I am lucky enough to make it to the ground, get in a infernus and hit a stunt jump at full speed, then enable a all cars fly cheat! You are absolutely correct. from what I have been told, the "new generation" consoles have some type of encryption so cheat devices will not work. What ever the actual game contains in its internal files are it and nothing more. I am greatful to Rockstar for giving us the codes that they did.
