RENEGADEPSYCHO
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2008/05/27/1211654006265.html Imagine if they had like a warehouse with a huge dome type thing, where you could play GTA and BE IN THE GAME, and theres like Ped's around you and stuff like a REAL 3D version. I know it'd never happen, but I think that would be amazing... imagine bigfoot in that

RONIN1191
Its already been invented; they call it a 'holodeck'. Don't you watch Star Trek? LMAO Seriously tho, this is something I've been wishing for...like in the movie Virtuosity or Cell; you don a suit and spike in to the 'Net. I would've said the Matrix but the idea of a steel spike being driven into the cortex is not my idea of tantalizing or fun.

RONIN1191
Yea Tony, you right- the goggles will do just fine. I can't remember the name of it, but there was a game in Dave & Buster's where you got to pilot a Heavy Gear type of unit and you actually 'stood up' into the HUD (joysticks for your hands, the view finder for your eyes and it sorta sat on your shoulders) - they had this 10 years ago so I'm thinking its only a matter of time before we start getting VR toys for the home. In a way, the Wii is the front runner of this movement.

an english boy
id be happy with some goggles for first person shooter, just you see out of your eyes what they do. does this exist? the next step would be a little more complicated, walking around etc. full virtual reality sort of thing, but it would have to be matrix spike or sensors all on you and hanging you from the cieling.
