ItWasntMe
Is there anybody else in here who misses MSX FM from GTa3? I was hoping with the more present day setting in LC they would get Moving Shadow back on the radio... Best Radio Station of GTa3. Not a patch on Flash FM from VC though! No, but your post did just show how much you do. Just because I don't like f*cking techno... most teenagers like techno anyway so I'm guessing your just a teenager who thinks you know something. Fuzzknuckles
I don't miss MSX FM at all. I hate techno almost as bad as I hate country. But... it was a jungle station, not a techno station. Yeah, I'm gutted that it's gone. I wanted to big up my Liberty City Junglist Cru, but to no avail. Signatures are dumb anyway.

eon
YES! I've ranted about this station several times to other people online, because it's just so f*cking neat. To me, driving around in GTA 3 at night in a black Sentinel with MSXFM....well it's one of my best ever GTA moments. I don't think many other games at all have given me such a neat feeling as that did. I think it's one of a few defining moments for me of consoles really growing up and becoming completely awesome. And yeah, have missed the station every game since. Nothing has touched it for me at all until this game, with LCHC. LCHC is f*cking amazing. Oh and it's on youtube for those that don't know. Just search for it and there's several results. Oh, and as far as I know : Jungle and Drum and Bass are the same thing. It was Jungle at first in the UK, then a group of dicks tried to commercialise it but didn't like the name Jungle, so they changed it to Drum and Bass. That might be completely wrong, but I remember reading that that was the case. Edited June 4, 2008 by eon

Fuzzknuckles
The real difference is that Drum and Bass generally doesn't have rude-bwoi-raggas emceeing over it, whereas Jungle generally does. Signatures are dumb anyway.

Jungle also tends to have that more layered beat on it, ever so slightly distinguishable to the trained ear, but not a great deal of difference
ItWasntMe
Jungle is more aggressive IMO. (Some) Drum & Bass is pretty mellow in terms of its beat structure. MSX was a mix of both, but mainly Jungle. Although I actually have the CD Moving Shadow released around that time and it has just the tracks, mixed as they are on GTa and its a lot less Jungly without the MCing... Either way Jungle/Drum & Bass is what MSX was, and its not here! Oh well life goes on!

ItWasntMe
On to of the rythm in love with the rythm and over and under... That MC Codebreaker was pretty good. Fairly generic but it suited the game well... I totally agree about tearing round in a Mafia Sentinel listening to that station... Ah the good ol' days! nickstemoeilijk
I don't miss MSX FM at all. I hate techno almost as bad as I hate country. Bring back that drum 'n bass I say! Although it was a good station, I believe they could do waaaaaay better with licensed tracks. Just imagine mister Size, Pendulum, Future Prophecies, Dillinja,... when driving through Liberty City at night. Ah well, let's hope the PC version has a custom user track. Lol, you still didn't get it, how wrong can somebody be in 2 consecutive posts? Teenage years are well behind me unfortunately. And I also do not particularly like Techno. As pointed out, it's DnB ignoramus It's "you're" btw.

libertycity_fiction
I don't miss MSX FM at all. I hate techno almost as bad as I hate country. I would still say Country sucks alot more. I mean no offence to the old Country fans like Johnny Cash and Hank Willams/Jr. but these new Country artist are completly ruining music. The only sh*t they talk about is pick up trucks, pro America songs which in reality were not that great of a country, and there wifes leaving them no sence of real music at all but thats just my opinion. ItWasntMe
In general country is made by rednecks for rednecks... Equally DnB is made by chavs, for chavs. (Generalisation much?) Although on the whole it is true and you all know it! I know I'd much prefer a Nova and a Big Mac over a Pick Up and a Shotgun though!
