JamalG
the worst thing is how he in couple of years since becoming kingpin of VC lost all hes frieds who helped him get so far - Paul, Cassidy, Rosenberg etc... its just like Tony Montana at the end didnt had no friends and got killed - so i belive the made man who was killed by Toni Cipriani before LCS was Tommy... Tyla
Not really, a Made Man would have been a lot easier to whack than a Drug kingpin with the status of Tommy Vercetti
chapapote
Anyway, I agree with JamalG: he didn't keep his friends close and therefore most probably he got killed after some time.
saintdave
It would make sense if it was correct. The “made guy” Toni killed was in Liberty City and he had to flee Liberty for the amount of time in fear of backlash from the persons gang members retaliating. Rosenberg was disowned because of his drug problem but Phil moved to Liberty out of choice.

Yeah, and neither the Leones nor the Forellis would have cared if he got killed (they would have liked it, I think)
Hodgey.
You cant say Tommy lost any of his freinds as none of us know what happened to Tommy. Only thing we know is that hes alive in 1992 when Ken rings him in SAi. So apart from that its a kinda mystery.
Creed Bratton
Umberto Robina, that old man from print works, Big Mitch Baker, Ken Rosenberg, Phil Cassidi, Colonel Cortes, Mercedes, Steve the porn director... all Tommy's friends. Just because some of them left VC doesn't mean they are still not his friends. I got some friends that moved away, its a normal thing.
Rashon.
Just because most of the people he worked with moved doesn't mean they moved because they're not friends with Tommy anymore.
Vercetti2008
BTW, couldn't they just stay in the city? Why they left him?

Tommy wasn't a 'made man' though, he was his own man, a druglord and he ran things, so I highly doubt it was who Toni killed.
CCPD
People correctly pointed out that we don’t know all the facts and can only speculate. Some characters from VC could leave for their own reasons that has nothing to do with Tommy. Also, everyone were more like people in crime who did some favors for each other instead of been friends. Most of the things Tommy did were to help himself to reach the top and protect his investments.
