I've done some test and stuff and I've found out that the infernus is the eaiest to get when say.. you're in the deepest of SF and you want one, just go south-west of where katies lives, or the red bridge where you can find the import export infernus btw, infernus is my fav car in the whole game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actual topspeed on flat ground needs to be calculated from drag and engine acceleration (and possibly other factors). Good point. Tested on airport runway. Note: Acceleration affect the result because it was not flying start. But in my opinion, theoretical top speed is not so interesting if the vehicle is not accelerating very fast. I need a vehicle that has high top speed, AND accelerate fast after cornering or crashing. This is the time it took to drive the distance. The times is average time out of several runs. 01. Infernus -------- 15.58 - The number 1 is in a class of its own. The gap to #2 is significant. 02. Hotring Racer -- 16.21 03. Banshee -------- 16.61 04. Bullet ----------- 16.69 05. I don't believe in those speed tests, i've wasted many hours a day doing them, and always got different results with each car on the same runway. GTA Phreak Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Do or don't believe what you want NOS only affects acceleration and even without NOS the LS airport runway is long enough to reach topspeed (in a car), beware that the sound is off (it will still rev and go through gears after topspeed has been reached). The bikes NRG/PCJ/FCR slots in along the Banshee/Bullet with a topspeed just above 200 (optimal lean), - but they don't accelerate as well and especially with the PCJ/FCR it is hard to reach topspeed. What do you mean you can find the Infernus anywhere? I didn't see one until i completed the story missions. And to get a Hotring Racer, you just have to win the 8-track stadium event in Los Santos. The Infernus can be found in the beginning of the game. You increase the chance finding expensive sports cars if you already drive an expensive sports car. And don't go looking in ganglands... go looking in wealthy ares. I often find exotic cars in the Rodeo - Vinewood area. Edit: Fixed outdated quote tags.
