Girish
That should be James Cameron's next mission. Go to Australia and find another body building Austrian with the personality and charisma Arnold had. What chances does he have of succeeding? And even if he does find someone, the image of Arnold as Terminator has been so brutally engraved in my mind, that it would be difficult to imagine anyone else replacing him or doing even half as good a job as him. beavis
I don't know what his chances are of succeeding, but California is still without a budget and the all too familiar political bickery is making Arnold's term in office look bad. If he keeps this up, I don't think he'll get relected. Then again, people will vote for him just because he's Arnold.
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Wow, that only remotely sounded like Bale in the beginning. Man he knows how to stay in character! "No, shut the f*ck up Bruce!" Haha, Batman... And the fact that this meltdown occured only days after the media frenzy over his shouting match with his mother at London's Dorchester Hotel might have something to do with it. Slamman
Some people aren't very scary when they explode, to me, Bale is one of those, I wasn't impressed by his blowing up, but it was sensationalized in the Entertainment shows covering it. Extra, or whatever, talked to other celebrities about those audio clips, one woman from the View (IIRC) said "Lets not forget, we're not curing cancer or anything, it's just a movie!" I have to agree, things go wrong on a movie set, it's just that Bale is a very serious actor, but if that can save this sequel alone, I'd be impressed, and I AM a Terminator fan I just don't like the movie idea without Arnold. Swarz
Heard Bales outburst on the radio this morning on the way to work. I mean, normally, I'm really pissed off and tired in the morning, pretty grumpy. But hearing that on the radio, I literally laughed my head off in the car. God knows what other drivers thought when they saw me at 0710 hours, but it really cheered me up. I just wish they include that as an outtake on the DVD - that'd be amazing. Three minutes of rage. Just pure awesome. --- AMF --- -= A joke is a very serious thing - Winston Churchill =-
TOGA62
the other side of the Bale tantrum story. READ THE TRUTH To be honest, he had every right to do it. You don't f*ck with an actor when he is at the hardest point of acting for a film. Social: TOGA62 PS3: balltowellamp
Ronmar The Only
That remix is sweet. I definitely agree he had all the right to do it, especially if he had told the DP several times not to. Anyways, Bale will still have work. Go Bale! Visit Writers' Discussion Compilation of Works: From a Storyteller
DeeperRed
Hope the f*cking DP was fired! You really mess about with lights mid filming! Its common film knowledge Its distracting enough to have 3-4 cameras moving around you but with lights changing constently, I f*cking rage when someone in the school play messes up there accent

Jay
I'm wondering if there is a way for the PR guys behind this movie to take this outburst and run with it when marketing the film, or whether they should continue to act as if it wasn't such a big deal. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Sure, just release a new trailer for the movie showing nothing but John Connor yelling and screaming. And end it with him standing over a defeated machine, shouting "Get the f*ck outta my shot!"

Garfield 2
I'm a big Terminator fan. I honestly can't wait for Terminator 4. I'M VERY HAPPY Arnold is NOT going to be in the movie. Why? 1. He's 61 years old now... 2. He's busy as a governor 3. After all I know it's Arnold but the story is different this time and Arnold won't be necessary. IMO

IMO That, and it'd be a nice statement to make that this series is bigger than Arnold. I hope this movie is pretty awesome. Christian Bale saying it's "alright" isn't the best sign, but at the least it should full of action.
Mister Pink
On May 23, 2008, Warner Bros. released the following plot summary for the film. The synopsis was modified on June 11, 2008: Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale), the man fated to be the leader of the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators, and the future he was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they find out a terrible secret that may lead to the possible annihilation of mankind.[2] At the beginning, Connor does not start off as leader of the human resistance, but he will work his way up through the ranks in the film. He is also mistrusted by other soldiers due to his extensive knowledge of Skynet.[3] McG said that it will be about the development of the Model 101 Terminator as well:[4] scenes involve humans being captured and studied by Skynet in order to perfect their cybernetic organisms and Connor explaining "If we let these things go online, the war is over."[5] He explained the film will "begin again very much in the spirit of what [Christopher] Nolan did with Batman," in that it will not require audiences to have seen the previous films, but it also acts as "a bit of a sequel and a prequel because it tells the story of how we got there".[6] That sounds cool but whay did they get a guy who directed Charlie's Angels?
