But I made this topic to ask, has anyone heard of any possibility of being able to buy business property in the downloadable packages that'll be released this fall? Which, I rather hope we can since I found it fun to be able to work and build up a business, so to say, in Vice City and Vice City Stories. That it'd be great if they could make it so we could create our own criminal empire or crime family. With a room set to the side that we could make missions from, such as a mission planning table. Just use L1 (on PS3 controller) to open it up, then choose between drugs, smuggling, extortion, robbery, etc.) and to be able to actually have sort of a rank system so to say. and if any business' get attacked, that we could assign say a liutenant rank, or capo rank or other, to take care of the problem. So we don't always have to go running to every small problem, like we'd have to in San Andreas, or Vice City Stories. Thats one thing I found to be very annoying more or less. Plus it'd be nice if we could hire a body guard or other to be with us all the time, at the expense of a daily cost for them. Also, just coming to mind, it'd be nice to be able to choose the kind of weapon that our hoodlums and such could carry in our organization. I could even do with some do it all urself handyman in IV, all those containers-boxes... forklift the stuff in a container-use a crane to put it on a flatbed-drive it to the port, load it onto ur ship and earn$ not the most fun to do..BUT it would be nice to have the cranes forklifts operational and have option to do it sincer its such a big part of the game idea Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

R* should make a few AI's that run rings I wanna actuley see bricks of coke weed bags of pills all that. You'd somehow meet the people (haven't thought about that part yet) They'd be posted in the trap houses with gaurds you go in pay X amounts of Dollers for X amount of product. Go to the streets and sell. Have guys under you that sell. Catch em extortin you or shortin you and blat blat done with. Even like that drug game that came on calculators. The one where you'd fly to dif states prices would differ and you'd make bank. I'm surprised that something that simple and fun hasn't been made into a full 3d game. Er well a good one. shadiedark Posted June 4, 2008 Author Share Posted June 4, 2008 One other thing I just remembered that I thought would be nice, is if we ever were able to create our own crime family and be able to control everything without it all being pre-scripted and such. Is the ability to do one thing against a rival gang/family and frame another gang/family for it, to get the two to go to war with each other and such. But one reason I think R* wouldn't do the bit where you can sell drugs on the street primarily, is that it'd more or less be a bad influence. In that they might think that it'd be teaching people how to be a drug dealer, or some how be encouraging it. To be a God basically, the Pablo Escubar of your time. I know I sat down and thought how much easier drug sellin would be. But the risks out wiegh the cash. True, basically GTA is a way for those of us to see and feel what it might like to be in the world of crime. Without having to obey rules and laws and such all the time. Plus I was thinking that if we got arrested by police, we'd have a choice of paying a hefty bribe. Or we go could go to the prison, where we can still do some criminal stuffs. But what I would really like in the dlc would be some mission jobs to net you money (transport, deals, businesses), and a way to spend money (apart from the hospital), like new safehouses or businesses. The drug deals would work by say you had drugs and you wanted to sell you will organise a deal with another online gang and you would all meet up and you could either just play a clean deal and you get the money, they get the drugs and hopefully you would both make alittle profit. But if you want to take it all you could place 1 or 2 snipers near by and atyour signal (by jumping or summurt) they would shoot at a few of the other gang members ect. Also it would be good if you could rob banks online but it would be ALOT harder although you could have more people than on the single player mission and you would get more money that way. Also when doing the deals it wouldn't JUST be drugs it would be like a van (then you could use it to get away from a bank you have just robbed ect) and also you have to make deals with guns, you pay them for what weapons you want and they give them you and then you can use the weapons for a bank heist ect. That would be quite nice, though if we were able to create gangs online and interact and such. But, I'd want to have it so there are absolutely no cheat codes to be used. Since those of us who play on skill and such get really irritated when someone cheats to gain the advantage and such. Plus those who use hacks and the like would get banned from playing on PS3, considering hacking is same as cheating and thusly they ruin all the fun. But as far as online gangs go, I think it would be good if there were some rather more permanent gangs/crime families, to act as mediators or the like to help prevent all gangs from going all out war all the time and such. Plus, I think there should be some way that one could create deals with the police chiefs as well, or to see how much heat gangs are generating too. Along with a way to be able to tip police off to another rival gangs activities, let the police knock the enemy gang down a few pegs or weakening them for us. GTA 5 means the next generation of grand theft auto. the next GTA is most likely not going to be a new generation, we are still on next generation consoles. sorry, it bugged me to see people calling the next GTA the next generation.
