For god sake I played Carmageddon back in the day when that was allegedly worse than GTa... I have watched films before legally I should have, but not at the bloody age of 6! At 6 years old no one should be exposed to that sort of thing. This is what I'm saying, not that games make people nasty. @ Santiago: I just don't like crispy waffles. The kid was also yelling his name, address, and other personal info. He was actually 7, and had snuck on to his brothers XBox 360 while he was at work. The little prick gave me a headache. If you were 6 and telling me you were playing Iv now, I would probably feint, it would be totally irresponsible for parents to let their kids play this game at such a young age. I'd faint if my parents were over protective, kids know most things nowadays. At 6 I was watching horror movies, bottom, The Young Ones, Die Hard, Terminator. All of my friends did to. My little sister even has drive abouts on IV, she's 8, she loves it, not that she gets it. She also watches The Young One's and stuff, same with my 12 year old brother. We are all okay, it's a load of b*llocks to ever say it affects kids, and to be fair it isn't irresponsible, there gonna see it one day anyway, why make them wait until they are 18? I have to kids now 1 6 months and 1 is 3 when ever thier about I turn GTA off because I don't think it's right them just watching. Kids take a lot in from TV now especialy cartoon type games and things that their parents take a intrest in. I can't beleive that people let their very young children be exsposed to this sort of thing. GTA has changed over the years as some people said in realism compered to the first GTA becuase there was no cut scenes as realistic as they have been getting since GTA III but now even more real in IV. 6 year olds shouldn't be playing GTA IV may be 1, london and 2 could possibly be ok but even then they need to be more mature than 6 years old i think that at 14/15 upwards you know which direction you want to take in life with crime or drugs (follow friends influence) or be honest and hard working etc... but if are easily influenced by game then GTA should not be played Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Certainly not when its a hooker killing, drug buying, pedestrian maiming, gun shooting crime sand box game like GTa IV. You may not turn into a bad person, and you probably haven't, but the potential is there, and there is no need for it. It IS down to irresponsible parents, not taking an interest.
