Blind Joe Death
The back of your eye? Ouch. Even though it doesn't hurt, that must be rather frustrating and quite scary. Something actually flew into my eye the other month and it was in there for over 5 days until I woke up one morning and it was gone. Frustrated the f*ck out of me. Gutslab
Yeah, hope that works out for you. And as the others said, the eye usually will dispose of any unwanted foreign objects in your eye. It's kind of the same mechanism for when you are eating and accidently get something down your trachea. Normally you have a fold that will go up or down depending on when you are eating/talking/breathing. But when you are talking and eating at teh same time, the fold that usually is either covering the pharynx or larynx will do a quick back and fourth reflex(like a break in the rhythm), and food might go down the wrong way. Result is choking, but you can usually get the food out. Even if it does go down, there are enzymes along the way that can get rid of it.
bumster
Once I had a small woodchip from ingrain wallpaper in my eye but it eventually came out by moving my eyes everywhere and blinking like a bazillion times. Hurt like hell though...
Girish
I always have my eyelashes breaking off and going into my eyes. That really pisses me off. I have to rub my eyes like crazy to get one out. Edited June 6, 2008 by girishb

Jerzeyboi
Nasty. This happened to me a couple of days ago. It is most likely a grain of dirt. Your eyes are VERY sensitive, and if were to be something with the mass of a rock, pebble, or even rubble, your eye would feel alot worse. I am no eye doctor. Here is a wierd trick my grandpops taught me. Hold your breath and blow your nose. It kinda creates a little out pressure. usually it helps to bring the object closer to the front of your eye to be rinsed out. With that said. If you get something in your eye, RINSE RINSE RINSE, and RINSE some more. 7 out of 10 times it will come out. Don't hesitate to go to E.R where they can do eye rinses. The worst thing ever happened to my eye. I was like 10. Playing with Hot Wheels (Matchbox suck) and a car slipped outta my fingers while I was laying down hovering the car over my face. It hit me right in the open eye, and scratched my shiznit up good. I scratched my cornea, I just had to wait it out with some medicated Visine. tuareg
The eye was reflecting the screen light, so the bug got attracted by that and just got stuck there. I don't think your eyes could reflect light so much that something would be attracted by it. Your eyes would practically need to be glowing for that. But yes, having something i your eyes is damn bad. Even more so when it just happens and you know you couldn't have avoided it.

The white part of the eye can reflect enough light, given that it even has water and all. The bug was small, ok, if the screen brightness was enough to get its attention, then so was my eye reflecting it. |DeviantArt|Flickr|YouTube|#amf|
