I know that I am not done with the game, and I have played for 2 simulated days (since the last mission). How can I get the next mission? R0MN4G Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Are you done with the whole game I mean 100%? If not, then you must call to one of your boss and ask him for job. But, if you are done with whole game, then you can't to more missions apart from police missions. If you get into the cop car and pusch at L1 on your controll, then will LCPD computer data came up. There can you chose Most wanted or Crime just now or something. After you chsed one of them, then can you see a people who is most wanted or what they've done. So then you chose one of the crimes, and you will see them att the map, where they are and you need to kill them or arrest. Sorry, for my English, I'm from Sweden! I have done Gravelli missions, I think the last one I did was the restaurant one. I have the same problem, after I completed pest control there were no more missions available and none are popping up. Nobody has called me about anything yet. It's been at least 2 in game weeks since I've had a mission. I tried calling everybody, checked messages, e-mails and theres nothing. I'm at around 65% done, I'm doing some cop missions and dating kate (after dumping kiki) to pass the time but this is getting frustrating. I want to finish the game but the missions are not there. I've been reading around online and found a bunch of people with the same problem at various stages in the game. The only thing I want to know is how to fix this, if I can... Thanks. Greslin Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Next to online connections and rank resets, this is the other big question people keep asking.. they're stuck and missions aren't spawning and they don't know what's going on. I think for 80-90% of them, they're just missing something. Since the plot missions are all interdependent, you might be missing something small and that's holding up the whole show. Make absolutely, completely sure that there are NO mission icons on the map. Go take your friends out on the town, build up your like levels. Give it time and the phone should eventually ring and get things moving again. But I do think there's a GTA4 bug connected to autosave that accounts for the other 10-20% that screws up event spawning. If that's true, and you've hit it, then you're probably screwed because you basically have a playable but corrupted save file. You probably will have to start over. If it absolutely won't get moving and you have to start over, this time turn OFF autosave. Save manually and rotate your saves through 2-3 save slots. That way if you hit a problem with one save, you can roll back to the last one rather than having to start again from scratch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you go to that place on the map, theres a person you talk to and do a small mission for. I've heard you cant do advance from some sections until you do those, but not sure how credible that is. csheff15 Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Dude I am having the exact same problem, Ive completed weekend at florians, pest control and the liquidize the asset one for gravelli... I was going for the under 30 hours achievement, but now i got nothing, only assassin missions and brucie missions... Do i have to date kate or something...? I think after i was just messing around for a little while Mallorie called and mentioned roman getting married, but, calling him doesnt do anything, UL paper doesnt answer, nobody does... I have 2 real hours left to beat the game for this achievement, If i have to stand around and wait for this sh*t then whats the point of the stupid achievement... oh btw i played the entire game with autosave off ... maybe i refused a call from UL paper after the liquidize the assets mission in order to save it, and that f*cked everything up... I have played the game twice over now, starting from scratch after waiting more than 24 real hours for a call. Each time I have reached the end of 'Pest Control' I get nothing... no more calls, no destinations on the taxis, nothing at any of the usual mission start points, just friend missions and the hidden people icon stuff, nothing that advances the story missions. How did this get through bug testing? there really seems to be something very wrong with this game. I don't think I want to play through the entire game for a third time, there has to be some way to trigger the final missions! I have a saved game at 'Diamonds are...' so at least this time I wouldn't have to begin all the way from the start of the game, but I'm really hesitant to retrace my steps unless I can figure out why it is doing this. The stats screen shows 100% for all characters except Roman who is at 73.33% Both times I have killed phil/ray by blowing up the cars with a rocket launcher when they stop at the gas station. Should I be trying to get them with a gun instead? Does the mission success only trigger if you wait until a certain point? I hope someone can help me figure this out. Srevil23 Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 What you need to do if you have no more missions is go to an place where a mission should start (even tho it is not showing on the map). You should see the flashing yellow arrow indicating a mission start point. I have the same problem, no more missions for days, and the above solved it. I was very happy i did not need to start again. Use this map to find out where your next mission (or any you have missed out) starts and go to it. Alex250P Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 I have had this problem too, I completed Liquize the Assets and no more missions, I looked at the three missions you had to complete to do That Special Someone and realised I hadn't done Pest Control.
