Bartleby
f*ck THAT ni**er f*ck HIS BLACK APE ASS BACK TO AFRICA!! I was starting to like you and your witty posts. Oh, well. I'm sure it's your little brother. EDIT: Very clever impersonation. Got me. @brz59: Pretty revealing video, I have to admit. I do a decent amount of research on each candidate every now and then, and I still do think he is the best (or, I should say, most promising) out of the big three. I would definitely vote for Ron Paul, but I am also aware that if I cast my ballot for him, I might as well not bother. I'm starting to entertain the idea of voting for him anyway, in the spirit of voting for the right reasons... Rashon.
These idiots should concentrate on more important things, not some stupid African (IN AMERICA!) names for hurricanes and idiotic "street language". These people, who are American citizens and can't understand plain and simple English are just plain idiots. Converting the text in "their language" doesn't make the situation better for them. If Obama gets to be the president, expect for the ultimate downfall of America. Yeah... I hate when people like you seem to speak for ALL black people while not all of them do that. Go back in your little gutter for having to bring race and stereotypes into it. Though, I really don't get why everyone says "Obama's the first African-American candidate to win a primary." He's mixed of black and white, he just has darker skin. You can't really say that until a candidate wins when they're fully black. McCain is going to be like another Bush. He's not bringing the troops out of Iraq until we "win." I mildly don't like Clinton. First, a couple years ago, she criticized San Andreas (not really a valid reason not to like a candidate but some gamers feel that way). Other than that, she wouldn't be a bad candidate. Obama, IMO, is the best choice but he doesn't have lots of experience (but he won the primary and if experience had a factor, he should be out already), he constantly is always going after McCain and Bush when the primary was still going on, also. But really, I don't know much about politics but I'd like to see Obama win the election.

jimmy.
I'm not voting for Obama or McCain. I don't think he'll change as much as I want changed, but I hope I'm wrong. At this point I really doubt he'll use his influence to change all that much. I doubt he'll pull ALL of our troops out of Iraq in the forseeable future. Maybe combat troops, but I still think we'll be building our permanent bases there and we will have a lot of troops to secure that and other "national interests" that exist in Iraq. If you also look at , his policy towards Iran is too much alike that of the mainstream Republicans. He even has stopped talking about meeting unconditionally with Iran after political pressure arose. The "no options are off the table" statement that he stands by with respects to Iran us equally troubling. I do think that he can deliver on some social and cultural issues, however. I have some hope that he and the Congress can further move along legislation on same-sex marriage and hopefully marijuana decriminalization, to an albeit small extent. I also have some faith that he can help to improve the conditions of the poor. However, all of this is not enough for me to want to vote for him. Jesus'En'Hitler420
DAMNIT, I WANTED TO SEE RIOTING AT THE DNC. There will probalbly be a huge bra buring demonstration due to all the bitter Democrat women. @Bartleby: There's a problem with Obama that I find is wrong with him and most Americans, and that is he has a huge, bloated sense of entitlement. He is a politician, just like Reverend Wright said. He sits on Capitol Hill and just talks a lot of hot air about how bad things are and how he's going to change this and that, but all he's going to change is how much the government spends, which in turn makes us spend more in taxes. Goody, all we need is another asshole that's going to feed all his buddies in Washington and subsidize more industry and fail miserably at it. My mother is on state insurance with regular prescriptions of methadone and anti-depressants and it is working just fine, even on my family's already meager income, no need for a National Plan here, and we are poor as f*ck! So now everyone has been convinced that everything is going downhill. It's only going down hill because everyone feels entitled to all the luxuries that the American dream has to offer. Too many people seem to have a superiority complex and need the flashiest cars and houses and all that f*cking nonsense so the common people put themselves in debt, and so we seek solutions out of some charismatic oaf that is only fueling the flames of the problem. I understand, we have problems, but Obama's way is not the answer and he only seeks to regulate what government shouldn't be regulating. If people would only figure out that balance is the key to our everyday problems, then a lot of the other sh*t would probalbly just go away. Are you going on anyone other than Reverend Wright and William Ayers (with whom he has a pretty tenuous connection, imo)? Even still, I don't think either people "despises the country", just the government. I think there's a big difference between disliking the government and hating all Americans, though they are often intentionally confused to demonize and discredit certain people's opinions. Crokey
On the experience issue, how much 'experience' are you after, since no-one can possibly have that much experience of running the most powerful nation on earth without actually running the most powerful nation on earth. Unless you've done it before then you won't have the experience, if you used that mentality then no-one would ever be the president since Washington died a good few hundred years ago and therefore no-one since then would have been in office to have the experience that apparently some people are wanting... seriously use your loaf. I dont know about you but if I had kids GTA sure as f*cking hell wouldnt be raising them. And I dont need some douche bag, unaccomplished, loser politician to tell me how to raise my kids. Kids go to school 8 hours a f*cking day. Then they have homework. And parents are supposed to take the couple hours kids have left in the day, for watching television or hanging out with friends, and spend them doing more school work and other educational things?!?!? Imagine a Presidential candidate telling American adults that they need to do more work for their employers while they are at home. This guy needs to butt his f*cking nose out of our business. Everything that comes out of his mouth is some condescending bullsh*t. His "I'm so f*cking high and mighty" attitude is really pissing me off. But telling me that I need to take every waking moment of my life Im not at work and use it to further my childs school education is asinine. If I wanted to do that I would home school them. Obviously any time you spend with your kids is educational and they learn. But thats not what he is telling us to do. He said to turn off the TV and further their school book type of learning. Studies were the way he put it actually. What a f*cking tool. He goes on to say that GTA 4 is breaking all records and making all this money as if its a bad thing. How is helping the economy, and promoting consumers to come out and spend their hard earned money, a bad thing? If he really wanted to be positive he would have pointed out that parents shouldnt be afraid to nudge their children into these new career fields, such as videogame development and other technological fields, because business if obviously booming. Yet, he didnt do any of that. He told parents to turn off the TVs and have your kids spend more time doing educational activities outside of the classroom. Not what kind of measures they'd enact to improve education, social security, health care, the economy, or personal freedoms; simply their comments containing a suggesting on how to raise your kids to not be mouth breathing retards? Until anybody is enacting laws preventing me from raising my kids how I wish without harm, I'd say they're still way better than anything on the other side. Experience in politics, not experience being president. One of the appealing things about Obama is that he's not an experienced politician. Statutory Ray
No politician can be trusted. Obama hasn't shown any sign of being untrustworthy. Clinton is an obvious closet case. We know enough from her husband's administration to not trust her in the least bit. McCain is different. I don't think he's crazy but his policies and beliefs are obviously out of whack and lack world perspective. I think he'd be horrible overall for foreign policy. He very much carries the economic beliefs of a Reaganite, which is nothing less than scary in my books, judging by how flaky the economy was before and after Clinton left the White House. I think Obama will be a great president, but it really comes down to how the votes go in the next congressional elections. If Obama gets stuck with a senate or house that is nearly half Republican, it'll be impossible for him to do much really.
Saggy
My only problem with Obama is that I think he's a bit too much of a religious candidate. I mean, when you compare him with Hilary he sounds like a Baptist minister. I never understood what people's problems with Hilary is. Dishonest? What politician hasn't been. Wants to ban video games? That's a load of sh*t perpetuated by kids who aren't even old enough to vote worried that she'll put the same restrictions on video games as there are on pornography and R rated movies. There's a handful of people that have the idea that she just wants to ban all media, but I haven't seen anything to substantiate that. Though, the most confusing thing to me of all... Why care about either one of them? All I've been hearing is "Obama" this, and "Clinton" that, but there were other candidates that I think would have far better suited what people want based on what they say. I mean, on the one hand you have people complaining that Hilary isn't as far left as Obama, but proponets claim she's more experienced, and during the whole time you have other candidates that have more experience than Hilary does in her pinky, and are far enough left on the scale to make Obama look like a Republican candidate. I can understand why people back Obama and Clinton, but I can't understand why the focus immediately was put on them, as if people believe they're the only two Democratic candidates to pick from. Personally I don't really care which Democratic/Liberal candidate is elected because I don't think it makes that much difference when we're talking about people like Obama and Clinton. I haven't seen any Republican candidate whose ideas on foreign and domestic policy don't scare me to death. Hell, I remember hearing Rudy saying, "Authority is freedom," and I think the only thing I can say is that I'm glad he's not going to win. Anyway, I think this whole politics game is f*cking ridiculous. The majority of what we're being told doesn't really reflect the intended goals of these people, and as others have pointed out before, even if we do have a President that is genuine, they don't even have the power or capacity to really turn things around as much as people seem to expect they will. The only thing they can control is whether the current state of things is going to get worse, stagnate, or improve. Personally I think the majority of the Republicans seem to have the agenda to keep things going the way they are, which I think most can agree is pretty terrible. All I can really say is that I hope Obama wins, but I don't really like him as a candidate. If I vote, and if he's still on the ballot, I'll be voting for Mike Gravel, even though he has no chance Oh, and I doubt Obama being black is going to lead to their being any more attempts on his life if he's elected. I mean, if anyone had the mind to do it, they would have done it at campaign time when secrutiy is more lax, rather than actually allowing him to make it to office and establish a cabinet. After all, any would-be assassin with enough intelligence to actually get close to him should realize if he is killed then his VP would go into office and so on, so if it's going to happen, I would expect it to happen during campaign time.
