And trust me, a black guy becoming president isn't enough to trigger "The End". Besides, you act like the president is something more than a political puppet. All we are voting for is a new face to cover a large evil face. No he doesnt dictate gas prices, no he cant magically pull us out of combat, no he isn't allowed to walk out of his office without a piece of paper, signed and certified by a higher authority dictating what to say. Democrat or republican, liberal or conservative, it doesn't really matter. We could elect a Nazi supporting president with ideals bending on the insane and evil, but he wouldn't be able to do sh*t except play as the political loud speaker of the government as a whole. So yes, quit bitching. Even if Ron Paul or that bitch Hillary Clinton made it to office, everything would be pretty much the same. What we hold in high regard now, such as "Gay Marriage" for example, is sh*t compared to things of the past, such as the freeing of the black slaves or the attempted over throw of our government during the war of 1812. The high office of president, Commander and Chief of our great United States, will never be what it was or have the effect it had on our society as it did in years long past. And that "heart breaking" BS at the end of his speech was a pure cliche for soft-hearted Americans.
