Yes, most of them are pretty self explanatory, but they can be hard to unlock and some people may have help or tricks to unlock them, making it easier to unlock the achievement wanted. The purpose of the topic would be user submitted tips, to help the people having trouble unlocking the achievements they want. Retail Therapy 10 Unlock the special ability of buying guns from a friend. Chain Reaction 20 You must blow up 10 vehicles in 10 seconds. Manhunt 15 Complete the most wanted side missions from the police computer. Cleaned The Mean Streets 20 Capture 20 criminals through the police computer. Sightseer 5 Fly on all helicopter tours of Liberty City. That's How We Roll! 10 Unlock the special ability of helicopter. Half Million 55 Reach a balance of $500,000. You Got The Message 20 Deliver all 30 cars ordered through text message. Dare Devil 30 Complete all the Unique Stunt Jumps Endangered Species 50 Kill all Flying Rats Under The Radar 40 Fly underneath the main bridges in the game that cross water with a helicopter. Dial B For Bomb 10 Unlock the special ability of phoning for a bomb to be placed. Liberty City (5) 20 After meeting all possible friends, the ones left alive all like you above 90%. No More Strangers 5 Meet all random characters. Liberty City Minute 30 Complete the story missions in less than 30 hours. Key To The City 100 Complete the whole game 100% Teamplayer 10 Kill 5 players who are not in your team, in any ranked multiplayer team game. Join The Midnight Club 10 Win a ranked multiplayer race without damaging your vehicle too much and with damaged enabled. Fly The Co-op 15 Beat our time in ranked versions of “Deal Breaker”, “Hangman’s NOOSE” and “Bomb da Base II”. Taking It For The Team 10 Be on the winning team in all ranked multiplayer team games. Top Of The Food Chain 10 Kill 20 players with a pistol in a ranked multiplayer deathmatch. Top The Midnight Club 20 Come first in 20 different ranked standard multiplayer races. Wanted 20 Achieve the highest personal rank in multiplayer. Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic 30 Win all ranked multiplayer variations, all races and “Cops ‘n Crooks”, as both sides. The achievements above are in no particular order. They are all there as far as I know, but if any are missing, please let me know. Difficult Achievement Tips One Man Army The easiest way to do this is to do it as early as you can in the game. Steal a helicopter from the airport and fly around the map gaining you a six star wanted level. Simply fly around until a message comes up saying "Achievement Unlocked". If you're too far into the game that you've unlocked all the island, here's the way I did it. Steal a helicopter from the airport. There's 4 stars. Fly to location 1 on the map provided below. Shoot police and helicopters until you have 6 stars. Then fly to location 2 on the map below which is the GetaLife building. Nothing can reach you up there. Rolled Over The two easiest way to accomplish this achievement are: Grab a fast car and head to the airport runways. Next to the runways are patches of grass and on the grass are little yellow ramps. Hit these and hope for the best. The "swingset glitch". Any car will do, but the car that did it for me was the Blista Compact. CeMedic Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 how can you tell if you already did one of the achievements? I'm pretty sure I got the rolled over one, but i don't know how to check? Anyways, when I get bored I shoot random peds and cops and just let them chase me all over the city, and pretty regularly get 5 or 6 stars. SHXC Posted June 4, 2008 Author Share Posted June 4, 2008 Well, I suppose it's similar to both consoles, but for the Xbox360, you can either go to Xbox.com, and sign in with your Live account details to see what achievements you've unlocked, or you can go onto the 360 dashboard, slide onto the screen labelled "xbox live" click on your name, then "View Games", Tap on GTA IV and it shows all the achievements you've unlocked there. I don't know how it works for PS3 though, so someone will have to post on how to do that. I'll update the first post with this information. nebones Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 With "One Man Army", I find it extremely difficult to get 6 stars. For about 4 tries, I just plain got killed. After a few throws of my controller at my wall, I finally stocked back up on weapons, health and armour, and went to the park in the middle of the middle island. I climbed my way onto the roof of the building and started shooting. I got my way up to 5 stars, when my f*cking xbox decided to freeze. I then gave up. For this I went to the bowling ally with full body armour/ammo/guns and took cover behind a bin and started shooting eventually one cop came then I shoot him and get the 3 stars, and ket killing tho cops who come through the door. Eventually (about 5mins) I got 6 stars and I keep shooting anyone who came through the door for the 5mins. I found that was the easiest way to do it. Hope that helps. GTA3Rockstar Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 GTA1 - The best way to get One Many Army is to have none of the islands unlocked. Grab a helicopter and go over to the locked island, instant 6 star warning but then you can just fly around for 5 minutes. Achievement unlocked. I too have trouble with the Rolled Over, I'll try again because some people say go to the airport with a low car and hit the yellow signs just off the runway. Catalinaslover Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 6 stars was easy for me in [email protected] behind the desk and shot the pigs trying to enter, have ur car parked outside and drive of to a near mansion, will try bowling place and wished the pigs were not being displayed statistic as normal ppl. I done the One Man Army last night. There's a building on the East side of Middle Park. I stole a helicopter from the Airport getting me four stars. I then flew to this building in Middle park, got up to 6 Stars and then flew about for 5 minutes. That was the hardest achievement I have done yet, unless The rolling one is alot worse. Get a low clearance car, something close to the ground so you scrap the bottom when you hit the ramp at the airport. You dont need to get all five rolls in one shot. After four or so tries, I got it in a Blista Compact . RogsR34UK: I haven't done that one yet mate. The way I will do it though it steal ten cars and put them in two rows of five. GTAmuscle Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 rolled over.... yeah pain in the tuckus.... yeah... get a car and hit the yellow signs until you get it.... i actually timed it to where the airplane is in front of one of the yellow things and was flipping, hit the airplane then spun around like a carousel for what seemed like forever... got it chain reaction i used the buses in star junction to block the traffic and then pushed all the cars with another bus to compact them and then just shredded them with rpgs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After four or so tries, I got it in a Blista Compact I finally got it (never really TRIED for it, but...) after doing the swing glitch for a while - after my first GOOD one, where I got launched with the car half an island away (just past the park on the first island) - I didn't get it with that one, but the next one I did, I went about a half a block with ONE flip, and it gave me the achievment. Weird, in my eyes. I don't know if it's this way with everyone or not, but usually, when I do the swingset glitch, I get thrown from the vehicle... not that I mind or anything, but I haven't hear of this happening. It happens with me every single time I do the glitch by touching the front of the car to the swing, that why I always reverse into it.
