smellincoffee
I'm planning on buying a new PC in the future, but with a lot of reservation. I want to be able to play older games like GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas, but since they are a bit aged I'm worried about their compatibility with Vista. I don't actually own SA yet, and tonight as I read reviews of the game on Amazon (out of boredom) ) I read several accounts of San Andreas not running with Vista. Some people said otherwise. Is there a compatibility issue, or is it just driver-related? I play a variety of games and have observed a lot of reports of driver problems with Vista. NiSsAn_BoY
Well I have a Dell Inspiron 531 with Windows Vista and mine works just fine no problems out of it at all. I have all kinds of games for it and they have no problem working. I have just a standard driver that plays CD/DVD
Zera
Vista could hardly be called an upgrade right now. Use XP SP3 for at least one more year, untill they sort out all the stability problems in the new OS. That's the best advice one can give.
