100% wtf to do now...

Recommended Posts

Well sh*t I was playing today and was like sh*t wtf am I gonna do now? Killing cops isn't gonna cut it for long, running over random pedestrians at high speeds is only so fun after awhile. Thinking up inventive ways to kill yourself gets old after awhile even though that probably is my favorite thing to do. I love just standing on grenades for some reason and watching Niko fly. Best one I ever had was the cops shot me and I went to the ground, but my grenade had just dropped too. So it went gray before it exploded then boom sent me flying halfway down the street in the air. cool.gif Anyone have any other ideas i'm open to all suggestions. I don't know if I really wanna play through the story again. I don't have XBL either, f*ck it I don't really play enough to wanna get that. I probably should though I guess. sarcasm.gif

The last thing I was doing before I got too bored with it is to try to take stuff out with heliblades. Pitching a copter to the left and jumping out can really cause a sweet blade launch too.

There is also the swing glitch if you haven't messed with that...

Other than that... try to kill as many peds as you can by walking into them until they fall down and then trampling them as they try to get up?

That's all I got, but then again, I'm back to SA now.

f*ck I am thinking about buying SA again. Thanks for the ideas though I haven't messed with any glitches yet. tounge.gif

There isn't sh*t to do after 100%. GTA 3 had more to do.

I was wondering what this is exactly. I remember that I used to start fights with gang members to provoke wars with the italians and cartel. And driving around, and doing police chases... Can't you do those things in IV?

"HAHHA ok jason dark flamer nice sig douche. Why don't you go down to the fa**ot store and get yourself a new moustache. "

I would love to, but they told me you had already purchased their entire inventory. confused.gif

Just to name a few...

You can't aquire anymore properties after 100%. And wtf is jetpack sniping?

Does anyone play multiplayer? What about messing around with the damage physics and Euphoria?

Ah good point, I forgot that all the country side safehouses were required, but that was probably the most insignificant on the post 100% list anyway and IV doesn't have any property at all.

Jetpack sniping is simply shooting people from the air in a jetpack to get a wanted level and evade/etc.

"Take loans from the mob and kill of their hitmen"

Where was this in the game?

But yeah,

I love jetpack rampaging with dual uzi's and shooting out tires from moving vehicles.

You can take loans at the casino when betting more money than you have... The casino will loan money to you and send hitmen after you if you don't pay it off...

Like what? Tell me what can you do in GTA III after 100% that can't be done in GTA IV? The only thing I can think of is rampaging in a tank, but even that gets old after a while. Pass me some of that weed you're smoking, because it must be some pretty good sh*t.

I think alot of people jump on the "There's nothing to do after 100%" bandwagon just for the hell of it.

When San An is done, I would just do it again, once the first few missions are done, it's still a truely awsome non boring game.

Try flying a helicopter and landing it on a plane - then exit the copter, and try to blow it (the plane) up with an rpg. And record it, because it will be cool. Alternitively, sell it.

Sadly you have to be creative to find something to do in IV, they just don't give you anything to do compared to SA as wayninja posted. But here's stuff I've been doing to pass time. Doesn't seem like much but I'm surprised how easily I can blow an hour or two just doing these things.

Go into the amusement park's bowling alley, get up to the Burger Shot counter and take a ketchup/mustard bottle and drop it on a bowling lane. Repeat for all containers. People's bowling balls fly all over the place when hitting the bottles and they can even hit your own pins if they're playing in a lane next to you. Block your own lane and piss off Roman. I drove a car in there to mess around some more but everyone ran out. I wonder if a bike would be more subtle. I don't think you can get a car in the bowling alley at Golden Pier because there's a fence blocking the sidewalk.

Push someone to make him angry so he tries to hit you. Get near somebody so that his/her punch hits another person and starts a brawl. Do the same near the swing of death by luring them next to it. Decent fun but too easy for the cops to ruin it for you, as usual.

Bump someone with a car just enough to knock them over and make them angry and as they grab your door handle, drive off and drag them around.

Get a hooker and find interesting ways/places to "get serviced". I found out she will do the deed even when the car is upside-down.

Call for Dwayne's backup and do vigilante missions with them. If you start fights with peds Dwayne's boys will perforate them if you're threatened in any way.

So, lots of ways to mess about, except they're not as clear-cut as they were in SA.

Even this stuff has its limits.

GTA IV is subtle that you actually have to use your imagination to create fun.

SA for the most part just hands things on a silver platter. The most fun I've had is jumping out of helicopters, and hitting stuff to see how Euphoria reacts, and starting shootouts.

Finally, someone who knows what he's talking about. Good to know the creative side of IV is not lost on everyone.

These are brilliant examples of creative situations that GTA IV can bring to life in astounding detail.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

MindCorrupt

Personally I like creating havoc by popping wheelies down a crowded sidewalk. Or finding new places to take the sanchez, they really got the bikes spot on in IV, I just wish I knew where the sanchez spawned constantly. (And I hope they get a few more bikes in the DLC)

Or trying to land in the central park lake at full speed and full height in the chopper.

I prefer the free mode on multiplayer, had some of my best gaming moments. Like having a dual around the city with a fella in the copter with the guns when I was on the dirt bike, or having a boatload of people vs a chopper full of people chasing them around islands. Or just standing at the road construction bit with about 10 others fending off wave after wave of cops and noose officers.

SA was alright, but I find the moments you have in IV sometimes just take your breath away (cmon, has a moment in SA honestly made you pause and just think wow...that was f*cking awesome). The game has so much potential with the graphics and physics engine in it.
