Alcoholica86 Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 (edited) I only have a few good ones. Last night i was playing in Free Mode and this guy started chasing me. I started shooting at him from a distance. He kept on chasing. I threw a few gernades one hit him dead on and he kept on coming. I decide alright loose this guy and get on the highway and kick it into high gear. This guy was reallly determined. My thought was that he would eventually give up on me lol i thought wrong. Ended up going through three cars till I killed the guy. Never had someone so determined to kill me in Free Mode. I mean this guy nearly chased me on every highway in the game lol. Bauer Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Last night I was in a free mode game with 15 other people and mostly everyone was working in unison to be annoying. I said "I like turtles" repeatedly, someone else said "Liar! Whore!" repeatedly, at least three guys screamed into the mic at different pitches, a couple guys were rapping, another couple guys complained about all of the noise that everyone else was making, and the rest was just indiscernible noises that I couldn't comprehend. I pulled over a man I had been tailing for a few blocks, as he had been slamming into pedestrians left and right, and so I thought it might be a good idea to give him a citation for intoxicated driving. I stepped out of my squad car and approached his beat up Presidente. He rolled down his window and said in a slurred voice, "Good afternoon, Officer." "Do you know why I stopped you?" I asked in a deep, almost narrative tone of voice. "Sure don't," he replied. I paused for a few seconds, sighed, crossed my arms, and continued, "Well, son. You see... Liberty City is a wasteland... and it's about time someone cleans up the streets. I'm a hard cop. A hard cop in a hard town riddled with hard crime! And son... if you do the hard crime... you do the hard time!" He burst into laughter. I continued, "Well, I'm a fair guy... and I need some contacts out on the streets if I'm going to get anything done. I'll let you go if you do me a favor." "What favor?" he asked. I had just joined a Free Roam, and everyone was teaming up against the cops at the airport. Since I had just joined, I didn't have a wanted level at all, so I ran to the nearest car and opened the drivers door. As I went to get in, a cop had jumped in the passenger seat at the same time, so that he could give chase to the felons. I was quite happy to have a cop as a passenger, but he never leaned out the window to shoot at anyone though. I eventually stopped the car for him to get out. I was in free mode & it suddenly got really packed out & everyone was at the airport having this huge shootout with the cops. So I thought, what the hell, I'll jack a car & roll on in, honk the horn & get a few out of there & into a nice relaxing car chase.. But.. When I got down & into the thick of it I noticed all my fellow criminals were just shooting anything that moved, unfortunately I'd already honked the horn & suddenly I was public enemy & within seconds my car was starting to fill with holes & little flames were spitting out of the sides. I dove from the car & luckily all the players couldn't aim for sh*t so I made a nice get away on foot. I then heard "Stop, or I'll" *bang bang* ..headshot. It's making me paranoid in freemode now! [email protected] Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 Ok then this story has 4 stages when I met this guy called Thomo84. 1) I had my helicopter from the airport but there was this guy racing around the tracks so I went down to end him!! He beeped his horn at me so I said "What the Heck" and landed to let him in. He got out of his car and blew me up with a rocket launcher. 2) He was still racing around the Airport. I went over to get the helicopter before I could lift off he hopped out of nowhere and sent me to hell again. 3) I was pissed now. I got armer, a Sniper, a rocket launcer and M4. I went in all guns blazing. I sniped him out and shot him once he fleed like a little girl so I went for the helicopter again he popped up and destroyed me. 4) I didnt care anymore!! Screw the armor, Screw the Guns, This guys going to hell!! I got the first car I saw luckey it was a sports car. I drove the the airport I saw the b*****d I raced to him RAMMED him off the road into the building. Went to the Helicopter for cover. He blew it up thinking I was inside it. I ran after with my pistol firing like a mad man. He shot 3 rockets at me and I dodged them all. I shot him to 2 bars of health he hid and shot an AK47 at me I thought he was finally out of rockets. I ran after him and he dived into the water. I ran over to a different Heli. He got back up shot bullets at me and I just laughed!! I joined up and it spawned me directly near a yellow blip on the map and I'm thinkin "sh*t". When I gain control I spin around and there I see him, a zombie in a yellow rockstar speedo wearing ear muffs! He's looking at me, I'm looking at him. He has a gun equiped, so I equip my Mp5 and keep looking at him, he's maybe a couple car lengths in front of me. I wait for him to aim and pull the trigger. He equips his knife and comes cautiously walking over to me and stops shoving distance in front of me. Were face to face staring at each other for about a minute or so, then he lets out a couple of "ARRGGGGHHHH" zombie moans and I literally laugh out loud! We both have mics but we never talked, I could hear some laughing in the background. After that he walks off and gets in a car and honks so I get in. We take off blazing all over the place, the whole time his zombie is doing the zombie moan. He ends up taking me up to where the Sultan RS is hidden (which I didn't know about so that was cool). We both get out and get in the RS, he then drives around aimlessly for a bit and goes right back to where the RS is hidden and stops and honks the horn. So I get out and get in the newly spawned RS and we tear ass about town. We play cat & mouse all over the place in the RS's for a long time. When one of us would flip one the other would taxi us back to the spawn spot. After a while another guy joined in with us and we had 3 RS's blazing all over town.. It was so simple but a lot of fun at the same time! At one point the two of them got ahead of me as I crashed pretty hard so I looked them up on the map and found them at the strip club. I took off and met them there, I walk into the strip club and once I got through the second door, I see a zombie in a speedo up on the main stage dancing around the pole, and the other guy up on the secondary stage dancing.. I was in free mode yesterday, and a zombie was running in and out of enterable buildings, so I followed him. At one point he went into the cabaret club, so I followed him in there, and when I got in he jumped up on the stage and started doing the cowboy routine...you know, roll, crouch, shoot, run to the other side of the stage, roll again, crouch, shoot. Shortly after I spawned, this guy starts approaching me so I pulled out the jammy ready for action. Then he stops and runs away. I couple minutes later he returns in a nice ride and honks the horn. I'm leary at first but say what the heck and get in. He then proceeds to drive me around the area and stops so I can jump out and pick up weapons. Then we head off to confront some of the other players who are blasting on each other. We both wind up dying and he scouts us out a new whip, scoops me up and off we go again. We'd be battling in the street and it felt so different knowing that he was never shooting at me. I loved it. He was my guardian angel, my buddy. At one point I was on the back of his motorcycle and he flipped it and ran me over killing me. I thought, no big deal it's not like he did it on purpose. So anyway, after almost an hour of of doing the Crockett & Tubbs thing, we got into huge gunfight, there were probably 6 people clustered together shooting at each other. I aimed into the crowd and started firing only to kill my buddy! I felt so bad and wanted him to know it was an accident but apparently this really pissed him off! As soon as he spawned he came charging me. And since I felt bad I let me kill me so we could move on. NOPE. The minute I respawned he came at me again killing me. There were 4 other people on screen shooting. He ignored everyone of them to try to kill me. Eventually, after I got tired of him killing me I snatched a ride and skipped cross town. That session was like a marriage.....It started so beautifully, but by the end it was just nasty and you just want them to die. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
