devilrock28
I'm getting really annoyed. Every time I wait in the lobby to join a game, someone always has to press ready and then not ready over and over again. Is there anyone that actually stays ready instead of turning it on and off? xNikolaiBellicx
Yeah man its annoying, no one is serious out there anymore. All of them are childish idiots. Just yesterday, i was with this guy and we were drifting in the airport parking lot, and then these two guys came, and shot us down, i killed them but i had to respawn far from there. So i just killed this guy endlessly due to annoyance.
devilrock28
Some people think that Free Mode is Deathmatch. I hate when you're flying a helicopter around the city and then someone shoots you down with a rocket launcher.
cadm9410
I know. I was just playing online and I couldn't drive for ten seconds without getting killed.
xNikolaiBellicx
yeah, when you spawn, they just shoot you in the head. I was trying to get this 2 guys to get in my car so we can do some crazy stuff, when this guy shoots me in the head while im in the car, then he runs me over when i respawned, so i got pissed and killed him about 5 times when he respawns, all headshots. Its so freaking annoying.
_Camo
I found people in ranked matches are more serious than the unranked matches, if they mess around they get kicked most of the time. Off topic: But you need to practice your flying skills if you can get hit with a rocket launcher while flying in a chopper.

devilrock28
Off topic: But you need to practice your flying skills if you can get hit with a rocket launcher while flying in a chopper. I was taking off of the heli-pad. I thought the guy was going to get into the helicopter with me but instead he blows me up. And then a second time I was low to the street so some dude could get in the helicopter but he blew me up too. I found a group of serious players a couple of days ago while I was playing Hangman's N.O.O.S.E. Then someone joined and started hitting people on his team with a car. . Chippy .
Well if we're all serious guys lets organize our own free roam! My XBL gamer tag is: oO FREAKSH0W Oo Another thing that annoys me is a free roam with 10+ people in NOT TALKING! Cmon people socialize!
Coltrane's Muse
I'm through exhibiting this "serious" facade. I now try to enjoy myself, and above all, have fun. The growing rigidity of things is beginning to ruin multi-player in my case. I've begun to accept "griefers" as minor nuisances, and ignore them to the best of my ability as opposed to maligning them for no other reason than the fact that they garner pleasure from the game in an entirely different way than I myself. They'll eventually tire of wasting ammunition and find a "friendly fire"-enabled game elsewhere. They're happy, I'm happy. We move on.

Sometimes I can have fun with people not being serious. By accident I slammed into someone and we started having a shoot out. I had fun for the rest of my game time. It's not that I'm pissed at people not playing seriously, I just find it annoying that when you're trying to do a stunt or get them to come into your car they kill you. I have had this happen so much. I don't own a headset so i am helpless to curse them out.

dampkring
Pretty much anywhere you go in life... 90% of the people are going to be honest idiots, morons, assholes, or decent people acting like them for their own amusement or entertainment of other people. Get used to it and find yourself a good group of people to play with on a regular basis. Once you can find a few friends that play consistently with your schedule, online gaming really opens up and becomes much more fulfilling. Oh, and you kick a lot more ass, too. tootricky
I've never had any problems on PSN with griefers. Actually I lie, I had one guy a while ago following me around in FM trying to kill me even though FF=off. In the end I got in a car and got him to chase me. After dicking about for a few seconds, him ramming me and stuff, I put on the driving gloves and blew him away. I went off to play somewhere else. I had a blast in FM today, literally. It was all rocket launchers. Me and this one guy spent about 5 minutes killing eachother and respawning so I decided when I spawned to try and blow myself up onto a roof. Took like three chances and it worked, then the dude asked how I did that and I explained the 3 second respawn/health rule, so he tried it out. Pretty fun just messing around, trying something stupid like "let's see if I can blow myself up to that roof!".
nealmac
Some people think that Free Mode is Deathmatch. Indeed. And you know what? Some people think DM is FM. I was in a one on one DM last night and it was set at $5000 to finish. Some people left leaving just 2 of us. Me and the host. So I said I wouldn't be rude, and I stayed, even though I knew it would take a long time. We were on Happiness Island. But this moron thought it would be fun to spin around in a boat on the other side of the island. As if the game wasn't going to be long enough. Why would he even do that? I forget his PSN but if he's reading this, f*ck off prick. You might have loads of time on your hands, but some of us have lives outside of GTA. Prick Oh, I left after an hour, even though I was winning. I was on $3200 or thereabouts. I was also worried that he'd leave just before I won. Erados
If you're the only one (or only team) left because everyone leaves the game, the game ends and you still get your money. So if you were at $4900, and the guy left, you'd get that 4900 and it would count the game as a win in your stats. If you leave, however, I'm not sure how that goes. You don't keep your money, but I don't know if it counts as a loss.

PSN user "ghostplayer" is another tool. I asked him what he was at. But but he didn't have the balls to answer me. He sounded like a 12 year old kid, laughing with his friends in the background. I'm finished with GTA MP until I get a load of friends that I actually trust.

devilrock28
Good idea. How do I go about it? Find one in the "Gangs" section under multiplayer and find a gang that's recruiting, fill out the form, and wait for the leader to accept you and you should be in.
