i just had an idea that can be implemented in the next gta.

just read in some post that there should be a cheat that makes people chase you like zombies like resident evil.

but many people would say that it would hinder realism.

what rockstar should do is whenever after a day or two in the game we go to a safe house,there should be an option to skip sleep or not......if u skip u just respawn after 6 in game hours like normal.

BUT if u do not skip sleep,the game can go into a dream mode,where niko has all sorts of crazy dreams(good and bad).

u know one day the character can be running from super zombies with a shotgun in hand and be eventually overpowered and wake up screaming.

rockstar can make all sorts of crazy dreams that can end after u die in the dream

or the designated time jump after the save game is over.

this would be the most unique and infinitely possible gameplay in history n it wont mess with the realism.dreams can also reflect the way your previous in game day went(ultra violent or calm).

I don't think that's Rockstar's idea of "Grand Theft Auto". I don't think they want their game to come accross as a zombie survival game.

They really left out many things that made the past GTA's fun, the cheat codes seem to only be ammo and spaw a certain car, I really miss those unique cheats they had in other games, like explode all cars, zombie, riot, etc.....

As long as it wasn't an integral part of the gameplay (that is, a requirement) I could get with it. It would be a new twist and hell, who wouldn't want to be able to enter a dream state and do whatever? I'm sure I do it all the time, but I can't remember a DAMN THING when its over.

Edited to add: cheatcodes suck in general; the only one that I liked was the one where peds riot and when peds all have guns. That was some sick sh*t, man.

I was thinking the same early on after remembering the atmosphere created in the opening half hour of I Am Legend starring Will Smith.

 

Would make for a decent 'remake' of the original GTA IV. The twist on the film could be that you would have to leave shelter for food and communication under night fall with it harder for the zombies to detect.

anyway it is a win-win for all.

you know all those people who miss their jetpacks and all other superhuman mods can have their bit of fun without hampering realistic gameplay.

by bringing in dreams into the game every now and then , rockstar could add another facet of real life to gta.

Not all parts of real life are meant to be included in a video game. They wouldn't necessarily be fun. It's supposed to stay a game right?
