Good luck. erhmm he's on ps3...... and i think your internet is just being slow, happened to me couple times when the signal was 60% or less so turn off yur router and wait for 30sec then put it on again if that doesen't help i dunno... I tried to get back on for 10-15 minutes, but like you, couldn't get past the 'connecting to game provider' screen. I know my connection was fine because I was on still signed in on PSN, and surfing the 'net on my laptop. Hopefully it's working now. It's down everywhere, asked a few friends on PSN if they are having the same problem as they kept signing in signing off every few mins thinking it's their connection!
