Updated my router firmware, now I never host games

I used to host/moderate games all the time (i.e., have the crown and the ability to change the game settings).

 

I just updated my router firmware, and now I never host games. Sometimes I'm the first one in the room, and it will give the host responsibility to the second guy in!

 

Why is it doing that? Is there a router setting I can change to fix that?
